[Watch] Trailer for Phoenix Documentary

Just when you thought you wouldn't be hearing anymore of the Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix-era of French band Phoenix, you were sorely mistaken. The pop rock quartet, who is currently working on the follow-up to 2009's Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, has released a trailer for an upcoming documentary titled From a Mess to the Masses. The documentary chronicles the band's breakthrough success following the release of their fourth studio album, and is an in-depth look at their onstage and behind the scenes lives while touring.

The documentary, which was filmed by "Lisztomania" director Antoine Wagner as well as Sorriano Francisco (and surprisingly not Sofia Coppola). The film is compiled of footage gathered over the course of a year by Wagner, who accompanied the band on their worldwide tour. The documentary will air on October 13th in France and Germany via Arte Television, and a North American release date has yet to be announced. You can check out the trailer in the player above.
