James Blake is looking set to have a huge 2011, being tipped by Radio One's Sound of 2011 along with getting himself an American Label in the shape of Universal Republic. His debut self titled album hit stores here in the UK and in the States this week and the reception has been more than luke warm to say the least! With his name on the lips of just about everyone right now we have a sneak preview of his Maida Vale Session recorded for the BBC. Last night two songs were debuted in the early hours by Gilles Peterson and then later on today Zane Lowe is set to play the other two. Forget that for now it's about the here and now so check out the first round of James Blake for the day, with live performances of album opener "Unluck" as well as "To Care (Like You)" both of which feature on his self titled LP. Go check it out if you like what you hear and find out what all the fuss is about.
