Sigur Rós are now at number nine out of a total of twelve for their "Valtari Mystery Film Experiment", which sought to enlist the imaginations and creativity of twelve filmmakers and give them the opportunity to visually interpret a song from Valtari as they saw fit. This latest video takes a different approach than the others, though, going in an animated direction. Created by Dash Shaw and John Cameron Mitchell, the animated clip follows a troubled individual from his youthful beginnings to his violent prison sentence. Watch the replay above.
The "Valtari Mystery Film Experiment" has resulted in many other visual extravaganzas, so if you've yet to do so, feast your eyes on the videos for "Dauðalogn", "Varðeldur", "Fjögur píanó", Rembihnútur", and two versions of both "Varúð"/ "Varúð" and "Ég anda"/"Ég anda"
