On his brand new, exclusive Shark Week freestyle, the up-and-comer flows over original boardwork by Budo. Grieves is currently working on his yet-untitled Rhymesayers debut, set to drop sometime this fall.
Next up is video #2, this one coming from the midwest supergroup GAYNGS. On the new GAYNGS record, Relayted, the band covers Godley & Creme’s “Cry.” The video also draws its inspiration from the source – animating the faces of its contributors to morph into one other. Many references are made to the original groundbreaking video, including an appearance by Kevin Godley himself.
For all you lucky Bastards in the midwest, do not forget about The Last Prom On Earth, a musical celebration happening at First Avenue in Minneapolis on Friday, May 14th. Limo and tux rentals are running out in the Twin Cities. There will be two record release performances by the entire band: one at 5pm that is all ages and a boozier, 21+ version at 10pm. Passes are available at ticketmaster here and here.
A little bird told me that the prom will be decorated by a team of 14 volunteers and will include two thousand GAYNGS ballons, much gold decor, and free condoms and lube. It sounds like everyone will have the best prom ever. (Via Jagjaguwar)

KoRn is back and are attempting to return back to their roots with their new album Korn III: Remember Who You Are produced by Ross Robinson who produced the band's first 2 hit records.
Their first single off the upcoming album is titled "Oildale (Leave Me Alone)" and honestly, I don't know what to really say about this single. Maybe a few more listens and it will click. It sounds a bit like Life Is Peachy KoRn musically and Jon Davis is really pushing for that old vocal sound but I still don't know until I hear more of this LP. But anyways check it out below if you are interested.

I hope you guys aren't tired of hearing about Silversun Pickups because MTV2 just debuted the band's music video for "The Royal We" and it's worth a watch. What do you think?
