Remember when we all got ridiculously excited a few weeks back because Foo Fighters uploaded a 10 second snippet of the track "White Limo" from the upcoming, currently un-named Butch Vig produced album? Well, today is a good day for Foo's fans as the band have tweeted another preview this time almost 30 seconds of riffage and Dave screaming "These are my famous last words". The track is also available to hear over on the official site along with the image above gradually getting brighter and more intense.
Something is coming soon from the Foo Fighters camp, I can feel it in my bones! Turn it up load and hit play below and get even more excited for this album, via RiOB!
In support of their upcoming third LP Zonoscope, Australian synthpop trio Cut Copy is going on a massive world tour spanning three continents. Starting with Australia's Laneway Festival at the beginning of February, the trio will then move on to the UK, Scandinavia and Europe before hittin' the good ol' U.S. of A. where they will make appearances at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami as well as a TBA show on April 15th. I'm going to take a wild guess and say Cut Copy fans who are attending Coachella will be very, very pleased. For the North American leg of the tour, Cut Copy will be backed up by Holy Ghost!, who recently released the first single from their upcoming debut album. Cut Copy's third LP Zonoscope is due out on March 8th via Modular Records so keep an eye out for that, and check out all of their tour dates after the jump!
Lykke Li is starting to do the rounds in build up to the release of Wounded Rhymes. She took to Kagelbanan in Stockholm, Sweden and performed a brief live set (as Prefix points out it's hard to make out if this is the full set, so if you speak Swedish, hit us up!). It appears she's mostly performing new material at the show, as she blasts out her two latest singles, the incredibly catchy and replay worthy "Get Some" and "I Follow Rivers." Check out the performance up at the top and enjoy the easy on the eye Lykke performing on stage, live in Sweden.via Prefix.
UK songstress Adele is set to release her follow up to her critically acclaimed album 19 later this month. This album is called 21, how no-one has decided to name their album after their age at the time of recording is beyond me but hey.
On the album will be this beautiful rendition of The Cure's "Lovesong" which you can take a listen to in full below. The album is set to hit stores in the UK on Jan 24th and almost a full month later in the US on February the 22nd! Take a listen to the track below and if you missed her lead single, which has been getting a lot of airplay here in the UK take a listen here.
