[Download] Bad Books - "Thanklin Franklin (Fish Ass Baby)"

Yesterday the guys from Bad Books, Kevin Devine, Andy Hull and the rest of Mnchester Orchestera uploaded a track that a few of you may be familier with if you caught the band live late last year. Titled "Thanklin Franklin (Fish Ass Baby)", it's never officially been released as a B-Side, yet the band seem to perform it live at most dates they have performed with numerous youtube videos showing the lighter side to the boys. The song see's Kevin rapping, yes rapping! and it's good to see these boys can have a laugh and get down when needs be.

Check it out below, and I'm sure we're going to be seeing more of some members of Bad Books with Manchester Orchestra last week announcing the release date of their new album Simple Math. Enjoy the funny side to Bad Books below via the Favourite Gentleman Soundcloud Page. Just note that on the Soundcloud page theres quite a few recently upped tracks from Andy Hull's solo project Right Away, Great Captain!  which is a nice added bonus.

[Watch] The Go! Team Drop 2 New Videos "Ready To Go Steady" x "Rolling Blackouts" & 'Rolling Blackouts' Short Documentary

Okay, I'm pretty convinced that The Go! Team are just going to release a video for every track off their latest album Rolling Blackouts (which I just found out they are). Check out the videos for the title track "Rolling Blackouts" featuring Bethany from Best Coast and Piano Magic's Angèle David-Guillou above and the beautiful song "Ready To Go Steady" featuring Lispector after the jump. Peep the band's other videos here.

But thats not all! Yeah I know. The Go! Team have also dropped a short documentary about their new album. Which goes into the making of the album and Ian confirms that there will be a video for each song. Check that out as well after the jump.

They are really pushing promo on this album, wonder why? Well, according 130bpm, While speaking out to BBC 6 Music Patron told them, “We don’t want to do a Jay-Z and say that and then three years later we’ll be, ‘Hey!’ again. But it may well be… the last The Go! Team record. It might be the last year we’re touring, certainly, the band [in their current line-up].” As well as adding that he never saw the band as a long term project. First The White Stripes and now this may be the end of The Go! Team? I know they don't even compare but still it's hard to see good indie go.

As we saw the other day he also appears in the video, but recently Jessie performed for MTV 'Brand New for 2011' and in the performance UK act Devlin stepped up to the Mic to fill in the gap where B.o.B. was om the recording. Catch the interesting performance up at the top. No doubt we'll be seeing plenty more of Jessie this coming year and hopefully a little more of Devlin too. Enjoy.

[Listen] Ellie Goulding - "Lights" (Bassnectar Remix)

Bassnectar is never one to pass up the opportunity of turning tracks into a completely different monster. In recent years he's turned Deftones tracks into chilled out club tracks, as well as making original Jungle like tracks as we found with his upload last year "Yes".

Today though we have for you, a track he has taken from Ellie Goulding and he has chosen her track "Lights". Adding his own twist to the mix he's turned the UK songstress' track into a banger and you can check it out below in all it's glory, courtesy of the man himself via his Soundcloud Page. Enjoy. Check out the newly announced tour dates for Ellie, as she ventures accross the pond to the states, after the jump.
