Finally the first visuals from Sims forthcoming, Lazerbeak produced album Bad Time Zoo hits the web! Check out the video for "Burn It Down" directed by Doom associate Isaac Gale and Dave Jensen and edited by JoLynn Games and also features a few cameos from Doom associates, P.O.S., Lazerbeak, Medium Zach of Big Quarters and more.

See who you can spot out in the video and after you're done digesting your first visual and audio taste of Bad Time Zoo, we suggest you head over to the Doomtree store and pick up the 12" vinyl single of "Burn It Down" which features 2 non Bad Time Zoo tracks, "My Go" featuring Slug of Atmosphere and "Introduce Myself", both produced by Lazerbeak. If you don't have a turntable (you should get one) you can still get the single digitally on Amazon and iTunes.

And while you're at the Doom store, make sure you preorder Bad Time Zoo. Trust me, if its anything like what you heard on the tracks above (which I'm 200% sure it is) you arent going to want to miss it. Plus, when you preorder the BTZ on Doomtree.net you can get a signed copy of the Bad Time Zoo CD, Signed poster, Two exclusive extra songs, a Sims-brand box cutter to be used to cut the origami-style album art which folds into a dioramic mini zoo, password to a live, streaming webcast with Sims and friends and a chance to win a mask worn in the "Burn It Down" music video. There's also a deluxe package of the album for preorder which includes all of the standard package above and an exclusive BTZ t-shirt (available only to the pre-ordering crowd) and nicely packaged in a silk-screened box. Sweet. Cop it ASAP. DOOMTREE!

[Listen] Skream - "Shot Yourself In The Foot Again" Feat. Example

Skream has had a busy year being 1 of 3 parts to UK Dubstep super group Magnetic Man and this morning Zane Lowe premiered a brand new track from Skream featuring a SKoA favourite, Example. The track titled "Shot Yourself In The Foot" is just the right mount of dirty and will be added immediately to my party playlist. Featuring some nice Example vox you can listen to it in full below to decide if you would get up and dance to this one.

Skream, Benga and Artwork were also set to appear on Annie Mac this morning but Example and Skream were recording the video for this track into the early hours and going on both of their tweets it got a little messy and they ended up playing an impromptu set at a local club! Artwork and Benga did manage to get up on time though and joined Annie for a nice chat about Magnetic Man and what not. Enjoy "Shot Yourself In The Fot Again" below..

[News] The New Foo Fighters Album is Finished!

It's done, finshed, and ready to be played LOUD! Foo Fighters yesterday finished recording their new, as yet untitiled follow up to 2007's Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace. If you follow the guys on twitter you'd of seen they posted up this picture of them with a bottle of Champagne and everyone celebrating. Not only that but up top you can check out a short clip of track "White Limo" which sound big and brash to say the least!

This morning on Radio One, Dave spoke to Zane Lowe on Radio One about the album "There's 11 songs and front to back there's not one sleepy ballad", going on to say "the process was so simple. It was really in my garage. You could put a mini van in there and that's it. The fact that we did it without any computers it was just really simple. It just sounds massive." Now if that doesn't get you all hot around the collar then I don't know what will!

The album also marked the first time Dave has worked with Butch Vig since Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind and Butch seems to have enjoyed the process according to Dave as Grohl states, "Butch  swears that he's had more fun making this record than any other record than he's made in his life - that's a lot of records".

We don't have a release date for it yet but Dave mentions the band are throwing around the name Back and Forth. With regards to a single "I don't even know what the single is going to be...It's hard to choose because it sounds like there's more than one." So for the time being you'll have to just keep hitting play on the "White Limo" clip up top to keep your appetite for new Foo's suppressed until we have more details.
