[Listen] Eminem - "Give Me The Ball"

More unreleased Marshall has leaked onto the net. Feels like the Marshall Mathers LP/D-12 days all over again. This one titled "Give Me The Ball" has ton of NBA references but doesn't quite hit that Eminem sweet spot, so you can kinda see why it was never released. But anyways, hate it or love it, it's new Em. Check it out below.

[Listen] Skylar Grey - "Love The Way You Lie" (Original Version)

You may, or may not be aware of Skylar Grey previously known as Holly Brook who featured on Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda's side project Fort Minor, but she's had her work most likely playing around in your subconcious for the past 6 months or so. She was the one who penned Eminem and Rihanna's  "Love the Way You Lie," which has now been Grammy nominated to boot. We also recently heard her vox on the Dre and Em's track "I Need A Doctor" earlier in the week and just yesterday heard her in Lupe's new track! So get familiar.

Today we have her original piano driven version of "Love The Way You Lie" a track she originally wrote for herself but upon RiRi's people hearing it they just had to have it for their album. Quite right too given it's catchy nature. Check it out in full up at the top and look out for her own album in the not so distant future. As PopEater reports she stated, in relation to the album:

"We're in the very early stages...I can tell you that we're probably going to do a few songs that are similar to my hooks on these songs, but full-length versions. The sound of the 'I Need a Doctor' chorus, I'm probably gonna have some songs that similarly sound like that, but instead of rapping, it'll be me singing the verses." Watch this space and keep your eyes peeled for this talent coming to the radio waves near you soon.

With every passing day, Dave Grohl and his Foos string me along with little tidbits of info from the studio, play shows in cities I don't live in where people shoot video of new songs, and give Zane Lowe teaser clips like this one of "Miss The Misery" (below), all in anticipation of the grand unveiling of their upcoming album of analog awesomeness. [Watch] R.E.M. - "Mine Smell Like Honey" (Video)

As CoS points out we've had plenty of lyrics videos from R.E.M. in recent months but for all the song previews we've had we were yet to have any official visuals from the band. Just ast week we had a track titled  "Überlin" accompanied with map/tube like graphics. Yesterday however the band unveiled the first in what could be a long line of videos, a clip for their new bands first single, “Mine Smell Like Honey”. The video was directed by Dominic DeJoseph, who also handled clips for R.E.M.’s “Bittersweet Me” and “New Test Leper” in the past, so they're more than familier with his work. Bassist Mike Mills said the video is “a reference to the old Buster Keaton silent film kind of days of pratfalls and just watching people look like they’re getting hurt when they’re really not.”

So finally soak in the first full video (that's not just lyrics flying around the screen) from R.E.M. in build up to the release of their album Collapse Into Now which you can pre-order over here.

[Listen] Hear 2 New Beady Eye B-Sides "Sons Of The Stage" x "World Outside My Room"

By now, you may be aware that Oasis that Manchester band that were once HUGE have come to an end. If you didn't, sorry to break it to you 2 years late. However, the band is pretty much still going, just minus Noel Gallagher under the name of Beady Eye. You can check out two B-Sides from the boys below from the boys. Firstly we have a cover in the form of "Sons Of The Stage" from the band World of Twist. Secondly you can hear "World Outside My Room". Both of the tracks have Liam's swagger thrown in for good measure and the sound of them both is retro. Not that you'd expect anythign else from these guys at this point. In relation to the cover Liam recalls when he saw the band in Manchester:

"World of Twist were a top band. I remember going to see them at the Ritz. I was buzzing, what was girl called? Shells or something, the Edge or Adge on the piano, top band man I remembered him Tony when we used to rehearse at the Boardwalk in Oasis. He used to come in to our room, I think he used to rehearse there and he would glide along the wall as if in a spy movie, close the door and slide around the wall like we wouldn’t noticed him and I would carry on singing and he would go along the wall, bend down and pick up something and then glide back along wall and out the door- and I would think, why don’t you walk past us and get what you wanted (laughs) . Top band . Top band. What a dude.’ "

Check out his homage to World of Twist below along with "World Outside My Window" and look out for the release of their debut Different Gear, Still Speeding which is penned for a February 28th release date. They also just announced a handful of UK tour dates if you want to check them out on the road.
