Liam Gallagher and his new band AKA Beady Eye have just announced a UK tour set for April. This will come as a nice gift to fans who missed out on the chance to pick up tickets for their March shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London which sold out immediately upon the release of tickets. The stint across the UK will see them play their first Ireland show too. [Download] The Streets - 'Cyberspace and Reds'

The Streets aka Mike Skinner recently posted his pre-album Cyberspace and Reds on the net earlier today. However, in order to obtain this record, he sent fans on a scavenger hunt for one special item. First, fans that had access to iphones were requested to download the ‘mike scanner’ app for the iphone from the apple app store. This app would allow them to scan the 1st part of the puzzle, which was a barcode located on Mike's recent blog post. The final step was to obtain a scan of the barcode located on a 300g tin of tomato soup by Heinz. Once completed, you would be prompted to enter in your email address for the album.

Of course, we aren't gonna make you go through all of that to listen to the record. Especially, since you need an iPhone and need to locate a can of tomato soup from the UK. However, we aren't going to post a link for the download of the record because that would ruin all the fun of Mike's little challenge. So, you can listen to the album below and then if you really want the album you can always attempt at it. Hell I don't live in the UK but was able to locate the pieces needed via some dedicate fans on Twitter. So good hunting. If you find it, you can post a link in the comment section. Mike even stated, "Sorry to all the haters on android and blueberry but you will have to wait for it to leak onto torrentshare" but sharing it here works as well. ;)

[Listen] Tame Impala - "Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind" (Erol Alkan Rework)

The second good remix of the day, and the week. Not bad considering it's only Monday. Take a listen to the Erol Alkan rework of Tame Impala's "Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind" which features on the bands full length debut Innerspeaker. You can pick up the albu over here if you want to hear more.

In this rework of the track Alkan processes the guitar sound and messes with the timing of the track making for a nice early evening listen. It was uploaded to Erol Alkans Soundcloud page so be sure to keep an eye on that for more nice remix work. Check it out for yourself below via The Fader.

[SKOA Presents] [Premiere] Heypenny - "Purple Street"

We told you to keep an eye out for Heypenny when we caught them during CMJ last year. We weren't kidding.

We're honored to present to you, "Purple Street", from Heypenny's upcoming album A Jillion Kicks. True story: these guys are insanely dedicated to bringing forth the awesome.

The album is now three years in the making. The band had originally crafted a record with multiple producers in two different studios and felt that they ultimately didn't capture the essence of the band, so they scrapped that record. Giving it another go, the band reached out to their fans via Kickstarter to fund the album and were able to re-track everything with close friend/musician/producer Charles Allison (who tracked Heypenny’s first full length Use These Spoons). Then with the help of talented mixing engineer Craig Alvin (Colourmusic, The Features, Hanson) the band was able to put the finishing touches on the record.

A Jillion Kicks features guest performances from 15 other Nashville based musicians including Byron House (Nickel Creek, Robert Plant), Kevin Teal (Cerys Matthews), Natalie Prass, Mikky Ekko and many more.

Check out "Purple Street" below. If you're in love with the song as much as we are, you can go download it for free on their website
