[Listen] Cut Copy Get Creative to Premiere their New Song "Let Me Show You"

Cut Copy were at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago this past weekend, and they took the opportunity to do something wholly unique and creative. Most bands premiere new material by sending out a press release or streaming it on host site, but the Australian outfit decided that wasn't good enough. During the festival, they cut and pressed 120 vinyl copies of a new song titled "Let Me Show You," handing out each to a lucky few. One of those recipients has posted a video stream of the song, giving the rest of us the chance to hear this fantastic retro-tinged house number. Check it out below and let us know what you think.

The Governors Ball Music Festival, which takes place every June on Randall's Island in NYC, has announced the lineup for the 2013 festival, and it's absolutely awesome. With headliners like Kanye West and Kings of Leon, the lineup goes from "meh" to "holy crap" very quickly. Continuing the awesomeness are Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Beach House, Grizzly Bear, The xx, Cut Copy, Animal Collective, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Bloc Party, Local Natives, Crystal Castles, Dirty Projectors, Holy Ghost!, Death From Above 1979, Japandroids, and so many more. [Watch] Cut Copy - "Blink and You’ll Miss a Revolution" (Official Video)

Late yesterday an unusual video from Cut Copy appeared online for the track "Blink and You'll Miss a Revolution". The visual features one hell of a lot of people in ape costumes much like old school Planet of the Apes on the silver screen. Most likely though, you're watching this on a laptop/computer screen, but that's cool too. Cut to decapitated band members and apes playing drums and no, I'm not talking about that Cadbury's advert from a few years ago.

"Blink and You'll Miss a Revolution" features on Cut Copy's recently released LP, Zonoscope, which you can grab a copy of over here.
