[Watch] Ladytron - "Mirage" (Official Video)

Liverpudlian electronic makers Ladytron have offered up some new visuals for their track "Mirage" which featured on Gravity the Seducer. The video features a lot of red hooded women and some lovely Scottish coast lines. It would appear they're in a cult of sorts. See for yourselves what I'm talking bout at the top via Hypetrak

Above is the video for Ladytron's latest single, "White Elephant" from their upcoming album Gravity The Seducer which is out September 13th in the US (September 12 in the UK) courtesy of Nettwerk. The video was directed by Michele Civetta and was filmed at a chateau in Normandy, France. The characters in the video are absolutely fascinating. I love it.

The band is scheduled to set out on a North American tour this fall in support of the album and will have SONOIO (the solo project of Alessandro Cortini from Nine Inch Nails) joining them for the ride. The month-long tour will kick off in Phoenix, AZ on September 22nd and will end in Miami,FL on October 15th.

[Listen] Ladytron - "Ambulances"

Today, Ladytron released the newest single, titled "Ambulances," from their forthcoming fifth studio album Gravity the Seducer, which is set for release on September 13th. Much like the rest of Ladytron's music, including the first single from the album "White Elephants," this track is dark and moody, so if you're a longtime fan of the group than you will not be disappointed.

You can listen to "Ambulances" below, and Gravity the Seducer is out on September 13th via Nettwerk.

A while back, Liverpool-based electropop outfit Ladytron announced their fifth studio album, titled Gravity the Seducer. The album, which will be released on September 13th, "is more of a jump than the last album was, more ethereal and melodic, a touch more abstract in places than we've gone before, baroque 'n' roll." Below, you can stream the first single from the album, "White Elephant," and head here to listen to another track from the album, "Ace of Hz."

Ladytron unveils new album 'Gravity the Seducer'

On September 13th, Liverpool electro-pop outfit Ladytron will be releasing their fifth studio album Gravity the Seducer, the follow-up to '08s Velocifero. The album was recorded in the English countryside, with frequent Arctic Monkeys collaborator Barny Barnicott tagging along to co-produce. Group member Daniel Hunt also had a few words to say about the upcoming album:

"Gravity the Seducer is more of a jump than the last album was, more ethereal and melodic, a touch more abstract in places than we've gone before, baroque 'n' roll. It was a pleasure to make, took us right through last summer. It's our best record, in my opinion."

Stay posted for updates on Gravity the Seducer over the course of the summer, and check out the video for the single "Ace of Hz," from the just released Best of Ladytron: 00-10.
