Nas drops the video for his track "Bye Baby" that features on his recently released Life Is Good album. In the ode to his ex-wife Kelis it sees him pour his heart out and look over their past together and everything they had. A pretty deep visual for such a deep subject matter. Yesterday we got to see Nas perform "Daughters" on the Late Show with David Letterman. Last night he kept the promotional ball rolling for his recently released studio album, Life is Good, with a visit to The Colbert Report. Another new track from Cocaine 80's has been unleashed after we got to enjoy "Queen To Be", "Take My Keys" and "This Can’t Be A Crime" over the weekend. Hypetrak point towards a soul filled jam titled "Chain Glow" that features Nas. The result can be streamed below and look out for the full EP Express OG which will feature this and the previously heard tracks.
Last night on Fallon Nas hit up the stage to perform his track "Nasty" with a little help from ?uestlove and The Roots. Although the performance didn't take place in the usual studio due to Fallon basing himself in Indianapolis 'cos of some big sporting event this weekend? I kid, it's Super Bowl XLVI!!!%£&$ Anyway, Nas puts in a stellar performance which can be enjoyed via The Audio Perv.
Next Tuesday (1/24) K'NAAN will unveil his new EP More Beautiful Than Silence to the masses courtesy of A&M Octone. Yesterday we received our first taste of the EP on Complex Mag in the form of the first single, "Nothing To Lose," which features the legendary Nas. The smali rapper also has a new full length in the works and is slated for a Spring 2012 release. More details about the upcoming album are on their way, so check back here for details.
It was just a few days ago that the posthumus album album Lioness: Hidden Treasures by the late Amy Winehouse was announced. Now, thanks to CoS and NY Hip Hop radio station Hot 97, we get our first listen with one of the four unreleased tracks off the upcoming album "Like Smoke" featuring Queensbridge emcee Nas.

Myself and Adrian had the pleasure to check out the Hyundai event during CMJ for the upcoming documentary Re:Generations which features some of our favorite artists like Mark Ronson, DJ Premier, Skrillex, The Crystal Method and Nas. Now, you can hear 2 tracks from the upcoming film, the first we heard during DJ Premier's mix session at the Hyundai Re:mix labs event titled "Regeneration" features DJ Premier's original take on classical music and features Nas and the Berklee Symphony Orchestra.
