Yesterday we got to enjoy Norah Jones performing on Jay Leno which was a definite early week treat. Today we get to enjoy a remix of her track "Miriam" from by Peter Bjorn and John. Check out what the trio have done with the track over on Stereogum.
We've already got to enjoy Alabama Shakes rocking the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! but as well as that last night, the beautiful Norah Jones brought her sultry vocals to Leno. Up at the top you can enjoy a performance of her track "Say Goodbye" courtesy of The Audio Perv.
Norah's new album ...Little Broken Hearts is out now.
Norah Jones paid a visit to the set of Letterman last night in support of her recently-released LP Little Broken Hearts, where the late night host introduced her by saying, "We love having this woman on the program," going further to say, "She is a nine time Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter. Nine times! I haven’t won anything." This was immediately followed by Norah performing her song "Happy Pills," which was met with much praise from Letterman. Check it out above.
As well, before her live performance on Letterman, Jones put a one hour show at the Ed Sullivan Theatre. The performance, which was part of the Live on Letterman webcast series, is available to watch in its entirety after the jump.
Live on Letterman Webcast:
Following up her performance of "Happy Pills" earlier in the Week, Norah Jones was back on form for the second broadcast of Later... with Jools Holland last night. She performed two tracks from her new LP ...Little Broken Hearts, the title track and "Say Goodbye". The former can be watched at the top with "Say Goodbye", a brief chat and a cover of Kris Kristofferson's "For the Good Times" with Jools after the jump.
Last night's Later... with Jools Holland was one for the books. We've already seen Jack White, Alabama Shakes and Grimes perform track on the twice weekly broadcast show for BBC. Finally for your viewing pleasure is the delightful Norah Jones, who dropped by to perform her track "Happy Pills" which feature on her newly released Danger Mouse produced LP, ...Little Broken Hearts. Enjoy the footage at the top. What a night. I personally can't wait for Friday's broadcast for some more musical magic to take place.
Norah Jones' new album, ...Little Broken Hearts is set to drop next week. We already had a few snippets of the direction this album would take after hearing "Say Goodbye" and "Happy Pills" but as a full package it's another being entirely. It's a great LP to add to her catalogue and is produced by the a SKoA favourite, Danger Mouse. We've seen the two come together in the past on the Rome project along with Jack White and that was great. We also saw Danger Mouse work with The Black Keys on their past two albums and they were mind-blowingly great so you can see where we're going with this. ...Little Broken Hearts is Norah's fifth studio album and it can be enjoyed in full after the jump via The Guardian.
We could all use them every now and again, surely? "Happy Pills" that is, the new single from Norah Jones has just been given the official video treatment. The track is set to feature on her upcoming album Little Broken Hearts which was produced by Danger Mouse is is out via Blue Note on the 1st of May. The video is a little bit of a throwback to the 50's and can be watched at the top of the page via MTV.
At very rare times in my life have I ever found myself saying i'm excited for a Norah Jones album but after super producer Danger Mouse hooked up with the singer last year to collaborate on the Rome album, I knew her next LP was going to be magic in making. And that can't be further with the truth with the 2 songs ("Happy Pills" and "Travellin' On") previewed so far from Norah's forthcoming album Little Broken Hearts. Need more proof that this album will be amazing? Check out the newest track "Say Goodbye" from the upcoming Danger Mouse produced album above. It's quite beautiful.
