[News] Parklife Weekender Manchester Announced. Flaming Lips, Justice, Crystal Castles and Many More Playing

Every year, Platt Fields Park in Manchester is turned into Festival Central with the Parklife Weekender playing host to some of the worlds top musical talent and the initial line-up has just been announced and boy is it going to be a fun weekend! Taking place on the weekend of June 9th-10th, Wayne Coyne will bring The Flaming Lips gang to headline the Festival along with Dizzee Rascal. Other acts announced include Justice, Crystal Castles, Noah and the Whale, TEED, Azealia Banks, The Rapture, Nero, Fake Blood, High Contrast, Gold Panda, Friends, Araabmuzik, Labrinth. [Watch] Azealia Banks - "212" Live in Paris

Azealia Banks is getting all sorts of attention at the moment and that includes attention from big fashion labels. She recently performed at German fashion giant Karl Lagerfeld's house in Paris and some footage has hit the net via Fader. I can't imagine what Karl thinks of the young talent but hey, it gives us something fun to watch! She performs "212", a personal stand out track for me from everything else I've heard from so far. I'm sure 2012 is going to be big for her, and this video goes to show her chops in a live scenario. Give it a watch at the top and join in with the dancing if you fancy it!

[News] RockNess Festival Announced. Biffy Clyro, Deadmau5, Mumford & Sons to Headline

Scotland's RockNess festival has announced their initial line-up and it's an interesting mix. They've managed to get Scotland's very own Biffy Clyro to headline along with Deadmau5 and folk heroes Mumford & Sons. As well as the headliners a few others have been announced. Azealia Banks, Ed Sheeran, Justice, Metronomy and TEED also make up some of the bill. See above for everyone announced so far. 

The festival will take place in Loch Ness in the highlands on the weekend of June 8th -June 10th. Tickets are on sale now.

[Watch] Azealia Banks Debuts "Bambi" at Mugler Fashion Show

Fresh off signing with Universal Music, Harlem's Azealia Banks used the runway to debut her newest song, titled "Bambi." At Nichola Formichetti's Mugler menswear show in Paris yesterday, Azealia Banks' electro-house track served as the soundtrack, and, courtesy of NYMag, you can watch an exclusive video of the show above. You can also listen to a live recording of "Bambi" taken at the event below. And, speaking of Formichetti, Banks' upcoming video for "Liquorice" was directed by the Mugler creative director.

[Listen] Azealia Banks - "NEEDSUMLUV"

Keeping up with the times, but what did you expect from thing young thing, Azealia Banks took to her twitter account yesterday to let loose a track titled "NEEDSUMLUV". It's Machinedrum produced track features some very nice sounding vocal work from Azealia which is a nice touch and a different side to the one some of you may be familiar with from the "Liquorice" rapper. The track also samples Aaliyah’s "One In A Million".
