[Listen] 8in8 (Ben Folds, Amanda Palmer, Neil Gaiman, and Damian Kulash of OK GO) - 'Nighty Night' (Full Album Stream)

During an event that took place last Monday (4/25) at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Amanda Palmer, Neil Gaiman, Ben Folds, and Damian Kulash (OK GO) joined forces and attempted to write and record 8 songs in 8 hours, cleverly calling themselves 8in8. They managed to put together 6 songs, which you check out in the player below. If you find yourself enjoying the jams, head over to Amanda Palmer's Bandcamp page and grab the tracks for a whopping $1. All proceeds go to the Berklee City Music, which provides free music education to underserved teens.

[Listen] Ben Folds - "Sleazy" (From Download To Donate Sampler)

I'm sure you guys have this track because you've already donated money to Download To Donate to help relieve those struggling in Japan right now. If you forgot, here is a gentle reminder to do so because once you donate, you get great songs like this comical little tongue in cheek number from Ben Folds covering Ke$ha's "Sleazy".

Have a listen to the track below and REMEMBER TO DONATE!

[Listen] Patrick Stump - "Saturday Night Again" (From Download To Donate Japan Benefit)

There is still so much to be done to help the people in Japan get back on their feet. Mike Shinoda's Music For Relief foundation has a program right now called Download to Donate and features a pretty extensive playlist of artists from all corners of the world of music. For a minimum donation of $10, you get access to an ever growing list of songs, including this Patrick Stump jam, "Saturday Night Again".

Still feeling a little confused about his new direction, but this song is pretty solid. Dude definitely needs to take a deep breath before putting out anymore songs. I almost feel like he's so excited to do something on his own that he's just trying a little too hard. Am I wrong?

Anyway, go get your donate on and getchu some new songs!

[Listen] Shirley Manson - "The Hunger" (Written and Produced By Serj Tankian)

Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson teamed up with Serj Tankian of System Of A Down to do vocals for, "The Hunger". The single was released as a charity effort for Amnesty International and it was both written and produced by Tankian.

Word on the street is that Manson has gotten together with her old band. According to a post she made on her Facebook,

"Back in the studio as of yesterday with the boys.....

We are getting up a nice head of steam as we really start to hone in and select tracks for the final collection.........

Dare I suggest we will have something finished by the summer?!?!?!?!"

Pretty exciting stuff for us Garbage fans!

If you enjoy "The Hunger", please make sure you go to iTunes and buy it.

C'mon, it's charity.
