[Watch] Clock Opera - "Man Made" (Official Video)

Another wonderful looking visual from an even better sounding band. We've previously seen some magnificent work from Clock Opera for their tracks "Once and for All" and "Lesson No. 7" and today we get another thought provoking video for a track called "Man Made". The track is set to appear on their forthcoming LP Ways To Forget which drops on 9th April, 2012 via Moshi Moshi / Island Records.

The video see a young girl donning a Freddy Mercury 'stache, entertaining elderly folk with the aid of Pancakes. You read that correctly. The track itself is said to be based on a "450 page novel comprised of entirely cuttings from women's magazines from the 1960’s" with the lyrics for the track being made in a similar fashion! These guys are going to have a great year upon the release of the album,. I for one can't wait to hear it!

[Listen] Clock Opera - "Once And For All" (D/R/U/G/S Remix) & Alternate 'Under The Floorboards' Version

Manchester based D/R/U/G/S has given Clock Opera's immensely good track "Once and for All" the remix treatment turning it into a heavy throbbing bass filled treat that'll make you get your early weekend buzz on. Give it a listen below and as well as that, Clock Opera have just uploaded an alternate version of the track in which they perform the track minimally but damn it'll put a shiver down you. Very excited for these guys to release their debut. D/R/U/G/S has also done a great job with the remix.

[News] Clock Opera Announce Debut Album, 'Ways To Forget'

After some great visuals for their even better tracks, Clock Opera have just announced that they will release their stunning debut album, Ways To Forget, on 9th April, 2012 via Moshi Moshi / Island Records.

The Four Piece have created what is sure to be a stunning debut using tonnes of weird and wonderful objects and unexpected instruments creating a wall of elegance and depth. Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on it. In support of the release the band will also embark upon their first ever headline tour making stops in Glasgow, Sheffield and Cambridge along the way before partaking in Dot to Dot Festival in numerous cities. Full dates are after the jump. Mark your calendars though, April will be a good month.

[Watch] Clock Opera - "Once And For All" (Official Video)

I'm very excited to see what Clock Opera have to offer in 2012, 'cos let's face it, it's going to be a lot of good stuff! Starting off the year theyve offered up this moving video for their new single "Once And For All". The Ben Strebel vid is sure to put a lump in your throat. Live for now people, it's all we've got.

If you missed Clock Opera's last, video for the track "Lesson No. 7", then go check that out too. It's in a similar vein. Both are moving peices of film that'll make you have a little think once they're over.

[Watch] Clock Opera - "Lesson No. 7" (Official Video)

I fell in love with track the moment I first heard it and today we get some visuals to add to the excitement. "Lesson No. 7" by Clock Opera has been given the official visual treatment by director Aoife McArdle and the results can be seen at the top. The video sees the life of a youth in the UK today tormented by his surroundings before it becomes too much and he takes matters into his own hands running riot on his local surroundings before it all comes back to bite him in the ass before the circle begins again. A moving piece of cinematography for sure. Catch it whilst it's hot.

If you missed the Tom Vek mix of this track head on over here.
