Django Django made their US TV debut earlier in the week in the shape of a performance of "Life's A Beach" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In case you missed it on Wednesday evening, or like me you're in the UK and didn't have a chance to watch it at all because of that giant ocean between you and an American TV, hit play above.

Django Django take us to Allahabad, India in their video for "WOR", one of many awesome tracks from their Mercury-prize nominated self-titled debut. Taking place at a carnival, the video focuses on the daredevil actions of riders in a "Well of Death' sideshow. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, just press play and you'll figure it out quickly enough. Check out the visually impressive clip above.
Django Django invites you to their fuzzy, monochrome party, complete with disco ball and live music. If that doesn't whet your appetite, how about some lucid daydreaming about a picnic? Directed by BAFTA-winning director John Maclean, brother of band member David Maclean, the clip for "Hand of Man" is a charming visual feast. Check it out above.
With all the craziness of music blogging, from concerts to press releases to interviews to festivals, it can be hard to find time to sit down, listen to an album and give it an honest, thorough review. With that in mind, we came up with the Reviews Roundup, a way for us to look back at all of the major releases in the past month and give them an on-the-spot review. Whether we like them or not, we'll spout out a quick blurb about the album to give an overall impression of what makes it good or bad along with a score based out of five.
This month, we've had majors releases from Animal Collective, The xx, G.O.O.D. Music, Grizzly Bear, The Raveonettes, Mount Eerie, The Presets, The Vaccines, and many more. After the jump, you can read our quick thoughts on this month's offerings.
Django Django may have released their new EP Hail Bop digitally earlier in the month but why don't we celebrate the release of the vinyl with a full EP stream. Check it out below and go grab your copy here.
The band are also set to hit the road in October after one final festival date next weekend at Bestival and a stint in the US to coincide with the physical release of their album on Sep. 25th Stateside. Dates are available over here for the US dates with UK ones up for your perusal after the jump.
Django Django offer up the official visual to accompany their single "Hail Bop" which appears on their self titled debut. The video is a brightly coloured explosion featuring the members working in some kind of office(?) and pushing a large glowing ball to the top of the large fictitious building. It's a tricky one to explain so it play above and look out for the single when it's released on August 13th.
Good news for fans in the US too, their album will be released digitally Stateside on the 14th of August and physically a month later on September 25th.
Last night Django Django were flung into the live television arena so to speak. They seemed to enjoy themselves though and they put in a stellar performance of their track "Default" on Later... with Jools Holland. It features on their self-titled debut which is a great, great listen. So, if you like what you see up at the top why not do them a solid and go cop the album?
Django Django have unveiled the video for their new single "Storm" which features on their great self-titled debut album. The release will come with a remix of "Skies Over Cairo" from Adrian Sherwood which will drop as a nice little bonus on Record Store Day. The video features some fuzzy footage and what kind of looks like Predator vision. Check it out at the top and check out some tour dates after the jump.
