[Watch] Islands - "Hallways" (Official Video)

In the video for Islands' upbeat, piano-driven track "Hallways," frontman Nick Thorburn finds himself as the lead singer for a group of marionette claymatian skeletons, all of whom have an incredible talent for playing instruments. As the song continues, Thorburn finds himself getting more and more into the bizarre situation, eventually turning into, well, watch the video and find out for yourself.

[Listen] Islands - 'A Sleep & A Forgetting' (Full Album Stream)

Since the announcement of their fourth studio album A Sleep & A Forgetting last October, Montreal indie rock outfit Islands have been slowly trickling out new samples to tease fans. Nick Thorburn and co. gave us "This Is Not A Song" in December, and last month they let loose "Hallways." Now, the band has made the entirety of A Sleep & A Forgetting available to stream via the ANTI- SoundCloud. Give the album a listen below.

[Listen] Islands - "Hallways"

With a firm release date of February 14th for their fourth studio album A Sleep & A Forgetting, as well as a Spring tour in support of the upcoming release, Montreal indie rock outfit Islands are set for a busy year. We've already heard the first song from the album, the oddly-titled "This Is Not A Song," and today, Nick Thorburn and co. have let loose another track from the upcoming studio effort, titled "Hallways." While "This Is Not A Song" was a rather sombre and low key song, "Hallways" is the complete opposite, offering an upbeat and excited sound, so give it a listen below.

[News] Islands Schedule Spring Tour Dates

Montreal indie rockers Islands will be releasing their fourth studio album A Sleep & A Forgetting on February 14th, and, to support the release, the band will be hitting the road for a month long tour. Starting in Los Angeles on the day of the album's release, the band will be touring all across North America for a total of 24 cities in exactly one month. This includes major stops such as New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Vancouver, Seattle, and San Diego. Check out all of the tour dates and locations after the jump, as well, you can listen to the first single from the album, titled "This Is Not A Song," below.

Yesterday, Montreal indie rock band Islands let loose"This Is Not A Song," the first song from their upcoming fourth studio album A Sleep & A Forgetting. Today, the band have released the accompanying visuals for the track, which features the band performing the somber, slow song in fantastic vintage suits. Today, courtesy of Pitchfork, we have our very first listen of the upcoming fourth studio album from Montreal indie rock band Islands. The album, titled A Sleep & A Forgetting, is set for release on February 14th via ANTI-, and now, you can listen to "This Is Not A Song," which, for all those skeptics out there, is in fact a song. You can listen to the slow, yet somewhat energetic, track below.

[News] Islands Reveal 'A Sleep & A Forgetting' Details

After breaking off from Islands for a short period of time to work on side project Mister Heavenly, Nick Thorburn has returned to the Montreal-based indie rock band to join the rest of the band and record their fourth studio album. The follow-up to 2009s Vapours, which is titled A Sleep & A Forgetting, is set for release on February 14th via ANTI-.
