Friday, March 29, 2013 at 3:30PM Kendrick Lamar returned to the late night TV circuit once more last night. This time he was visiting the outdoor stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and with him he brought along two, to be expected, stellar performances. Taking highlights "Poetic Justice" and a slightly more child friendly version of "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" from his still amazing album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, and he rocked the stage as well as ever. It was only a matter of time before Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z collaborated. The pair team up to remix Lamar's "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe", and with the quality of Hova's bars on the track it was definitely worth the wait. Once again bringing the good kid, m.A.A.d. city cut "Poetic Justice" to the late-night stage, Lamar dished out his lyrics and flow with ease. Saturday Night Live is a proving ground for late-night television, serving as a reminder for the mainstream of who's got it and who doesn't. Kendrick Lamar proved that last night when he performed on the long-running sketch comedy show. As if his amazing studio debut good kid m.A.A.d. city didn't display his talent enough, Lamar's confident live renditions of both "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "Poetic Justice" surely did. The Compton rapper went beyond that calm, collected demeanor, though, making an appearance in The Lonely Island's digital short for their Adam Levine-featuring single "Yolo". Check out all three videos below.

The Governors Ball Music Festival, which takes place every June on Randall's Island in NYC, has announced the lineup for the 2013 festival, and it's absolutely awesome. With headliners like Kanye West and Kings of Leon, the lineup goes from "meh" to "holy crap" very quickly. Continuing the awesomeness are Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Beach House, Grizzly Bear, The xx, Cut Copy, Animal Collective, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Bloc Party, Local Natives, Crystal Castles, Dirty Projectors, Holy Ghost!, Death From Above 1979, Japandroids, and so many more. Of note, there's one name that is blacked out, which we're assuming will serve as a big announcement in the future.
Tickets for the three-day festival go on sale this Friday, January 25th. Below, you can watch the announcement video for the festival.
