Remember back in the early 2000s when Linkin Park pwnd at everything?  "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora" rocked the nu metal world and the band played crazy sold out shows almost every night.  Then something happened.  The band members lost their balls and their music got straight up mellow and depressing.  "Minutes To Midnight" became everybody's favorite coaster.

Well in an effort to regain their cool, Linkin Park just released an iPhone/iPod Touch app called 8-bit Rebellion, which is actually a really fun game, and when you beat it, you get access to a BRAND NEW Linkin Park song.  And by brand new song, I mean an old song they're just releasing now.  It's called "Blackbirds."  And yes, Chester is still whining about something, but it's better than pretty much everything on "Minutes To Midnight" because Mike Shinoda is rapping again.  

So for all us Android fanboys out there who don't have an iPhone or iPod touch, or you people who are just too lazy to beat the game, here's the track.  Enjoy!
