Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds released their album last year to a sea of praise. Noel and his band are currently still touring the release but it appears that a few tracks that didn't make the album have appeared online via a soundcheck recording. Antiquiet points towards to cuts titled "God Help Us All" and "It Makes Me Wanna Cry" however EMI seem to have taken action and had them removed. Luckily someone else got hold of the tracks and has uploaded them elsewhere. See what you make of them both after the jump.

[Watch] Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - "AKA... What A Life" x "Don't Look Back In Anger"Live on Kimmel
Last night, after a weekend spent at Coachella, a weekend that apparently nearly didn't even happen for him as security found 30 white and yellow pills on his person while entering the festival (they were sleeping pills), Noel Gallagher returned to the late night circuit. He hit up Jimmy Kimmel Live to put in a performance of recent single "AKA... What A Life" before leading into an Oasis favourite, "Don't Look back In Anger". Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will return for the second weekend of Coachella madness later this week but before that, check out the performance at the top courtesy of The Audio Perv. No rest for the wicked. Well, there is if he's popping those white and yellow pills.
On Monday evening the cheerful (you know, compared to years gone by!) Mancunion better known as Noel Gallagher took to the TV screens of many in the US with a visit to Conan O'Brien and his late night spot. Him and the High Flying Birds performed recent single "AKA... What A Life!" for the studio and viewers at home. Peep it at the top and enjoy a man doing what he does best following the release of some of the best music he's made in years.
The self titled debut LP, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, is out now.
[Watch] Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - "If I Had a Gun" x "The Death of You and Me" Live on Jools Holland
Early last week the final episode of this run of Later... with Jools Holland aired in the UK and we got to see some great performances. On Friday the full show went out and today we can re-live some of the performances. First up is two more from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds who added to the performance of "What A Life" from Tuesday with "If I Had a Gun" and "The Death of You and Me". Up at the top is the latter with "If I Had a Gun" being able to be enjoyed after the jump. Thoroughly impressed by Noel's performance.
Noel Gallagher bright his new band to the Jools Holland studio last night and seemed confident in his skin. He's got every right to be too after the very warm welcome to his album Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. If you live in the UK you may have been exposed to this song a little ore due to the use of it in a few big brand TV adverts but nonetheless it's a great track and a solid performance from Noel and his band. It was also nice to see Noel having a chat, albeit very brief, but he was his jovial self and got a few laughs. It'll be good to see more of that of Friday's full broadcast. For now though, check out the performance at the top.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds were received with open arms by many and were a definite step up from the material offered by his younger brothers effort with Beady Eye. To coincide with this Noel and his band have mapped out a tour of the US set for Spring 2012 in support of the recently released LP. Along with US and UK dates in the new year, the band will perform at Big Day Out in NZ and Australia. Basically it looks like Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will have one hell of a busy 2012. Check out the dates after the jump via CoS.
Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds has let loose the 8 minute trip of a video for his track "AKA... What A Life!". The epic looking video stars Russell Brand as an evil potion feeding villain. The video picks up from where the last video left off in which the waitress enters the kooky looking wagon. Inside, Brand awaits and gives her a life affirming spiel before force feeding her, with the help of two pretty ladies, a magical spell. Must be potent stuff as the waitress quickly subsides and passes out. The video then unravels into two girls searching for the waitress in a dream like world. At one point Noel jumps into the car with them to help the cause before later on saving the day with his magical camera. It's all very confusing but worth 8 minutes of your day for sure. Apparently it's not available in the US so we will try to update ASAP with a world friendly version.
UPDATE: Region free video now up.
