[Listen] Jack White - "Machine Gun Silhouette"

An eager Jack White fan has posted the b-side on the "Love Interruption" single release, which is out today on Third Man Records. Definitely prefer the more upbeat vibe to this song over the A-side, but both are solid nonetheless. As April 23rd crawls its way here for his upcoming debut solo album Blunderbuss we can only expect and hope that ol' Jackie to have some surprises tucked up his sleeves for us along the way.

Make sure you head over to the Third Man Records store to grab a copy of "Love Interruption/Machine Gun Silhouette" for yourself.

[Listen] The Kills' Alison Mosshart and Autolux's Carla Azar Cover The Beatles "Tomorrow Never Knows"

Although the film may be disappointing (from what I've heard in reviews and from friends) the soundtrack to Zach Snyder's film Suckerpunch is pretty awesome. The soundtrack features remixes and covers of classic hits like Skunk Anansie's remix of Bjork's "Army of Me" as well as her cover of The Stooges "Search and Destroy" also Emily Browning covering Eurythmics' classic "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)", The Pixies' "Where Is My Mind?"  and The Smiths' "Asleep". But the most stand out song from that soundtrack has to be The Dead Weather/The Kills' very own Alison Mosshart alongside Carla Azar (of Autolux) dark cover of The Beatles' Revolver tune "Tomorrow Never Knows."

Check out their awesome version of the classic in the player below and check out Sucker Punch: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack available now via WaterTower Music.

[Watch] Third Man Records' Rolling Record Store

Oh Jackie, my Jackie. You're always coming up with ways to spread the vinyl loving and I adore you for that. This time Jack White and his Third Man Records team have put their pop up store on wheels and are calling it the Rolling Record Store. For those of us lucky enough to be heading down south to Austin for SXSW, the Rolling Record Store will be making its debut from the 16th-20th.

No word yet if there will be any special SXSW-only releases like they did for the LA + NYC TMR pop-up stores in the past, but we'll keep you posted of its awesomeness upon arrival to Austin, so keep your eyes peeled here!

[News] The Kills Complete Fourth Album

We haven't had much if any new material from Jamie Hince and Alison Moshart since 2008's album Midnight Boom. I'm not complaining too much mind, we did have the beutiful musings of The Dead Weather in their absence. That kept my Moshart fix just about managable but yesterday (January 6th) we got news from Alison that the 4th album from The Kills was finished! Posting the above picture on their Facebook Page, she stated the following:

"Well hello friends. Happy new year to all of you! I write to you from Michigan on a snowy-ish evening. With Christmas and New Years festivities seemingly over, a flight early in the morning beckons and I have good news! The 4th Kills album is FINISHED! RECORDED+MIXED+MASTERED and all that jazz. So here’s to a new year and a new record!!! More announcements will be made very very soon xxx A"

More news on the release date and all that jazz when we have it! Keep your eyes peeled and keep checking back.

[SKOA Presents] The Top 25 Albums of 2010: 15-11

15. RJD2 - The Colossus [Buy CD | Vinyl]

On his fourth album, Dj/Producer RJD2 combines all styles of his previous efforts to create one of his greatest album yet. From the sample rocking opener "There Will Be Horns" which brings back fond memories of the Since We Last Spoke era to tracks like "The Glow", "Games You Can Win" and my favorite track "Giant Squid", each track's sound is different but fits the overall feel of the album. This album is definitely a banger for old and new RJ fans or people looking for something fresh. We highly suggest picking this one up along with the outtakes and Instrumental album, Inversions of The Colossus. - Rocko

[Listen] Wanda Jackson - "Thunder On The Mountain (feat. Jack White) (Bob Dylan cover)"

We told you awhile back that ol' Jackie White was working with The Queen of Rockabilly herself, Wanda Jackson. We've all been anxious to hear what collaborating with Jackie would sound like and if this is any sort of indication of what the rest of The Party Ain't Over will sound like, well, then I guess the party really has only just begun.

As Cover Me Songs reports, Jackie asked Bob Dylan what song Jackson should cover for her album and it was Dylan himself that suggested they do "Thunder On The Mountain".

As you may have already guessed, Jackie thew down some crazy guitar goodies for this track alongside some of his Raco-Weather buddies (Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler), his beautiful wife (Karen Elson), My Morning Jacket's Carl Bromel, Ashley Monroe and Jackson Smith.

The Party Ain't Over is available for pre-sale now on Third Man Records. The first 1000 pre-orders will include a limited edition Hatch Show print and there will be 100 limited fuschia colored LPs randomly inserted in true TMR style into the first 1000 pre-orders, so go get on that!

Enough gossip! Check out the track after the jump!

[Listen] Hear The Hidden Triple Decker Record Dead Weather Track, "I Feel Strange"

Were you one of those unfortunate souls that missed out on obtaining a the Jack White special Triple Decker Record 12" of The Dead Weather's "Blue Blood Blues"? If not, good for you. (jerk jk) But if you were and you are just like the rest of us not willing to shell out $400+ on ebay, good news! We got the track for you to at least listen to so you don't feel so left out. Check out the unreleased track "I Feel Strange"  by The Dead Weather below.

The song was bundled on the hidden 7" within the Triple Decker Record with the B-Side "Rolling in on a Burning Tire" which appeared on the Twilight Eclipse Soundtrack.

UPDATE: Wow. Did not realize people would be so upset about this being streamed. As fans who were looking forward to loving and enjoying this rareity ourselves, Rocko and I thought we were doing the rest of us unlucky fans a favor. Jackie please don't hate us. We love you. - Kibbe
