He's young, he's talented and he likes to wear unusual outfits. You can't knock him really. I'm talking about English artist, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Today we get a new cut from him called "Stronger" which is in fact the title tract from his long awaited full-length debut which is set to drop on the 11th of June. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 4:00PM Totally Enourmous Extinct Dinosaurs, the solo project of Oxford producer Orlando Higginbottom, has been known to be a bit eccentric in the way he presents himself, and the new video for "American Dream Part II" is no different. The video, a collaboration between Higginbottom and ADAM, sees the musician donned in an outfit that could only be compared to a mix between a peacock and a Pokémon before having confetti explode around him in time with the beat. Check out the shiny, confetti-filled dance party above.
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs' debut LP Trouble is out on June 12th via Casablanca Records.

UK electronic musician/producer Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, whose real name is equally as quirky (Orlando Higginbottom), has announced that he will be releasing his debut LP, titled Trouble, on June 12th via Casablanca Records. The debut release has been a long time coming, as TEED began making music in 2008. He has since released numerous singles, remixes, EPs, and even worked with Damon Albarn on his recent DRC Music project. An issued press release states that TEED's intention is "to make a record that felt free from the frequent short-lived trends in dance music, and that made sense to a dancer and a listener." The album also sees TEED becoming "completely immersed in the role of vocalist, providing the story with a genuine heartfelt quality," all the while employing his “trademark sub-bass, electro bounciness and washed-out synths." He goes further to say, "I feel like I’ve been working on this debut album for ages and now I can’t wait to get it out there.”

Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 11:00AM Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs may be a bit of a mouthful and it's certainly a bit of an earful too. Whether you think it's an enormous earful is up to you though and it's certainly not extinct. Anyway, today we get a brand new video from the young UK talent for the song "Tapes & Money" and the visual sees TEED performing at London's Heaven venue with footage of the producer on stage in his elaborate costume cut alongside footage of the energetic crowd.

Every year, Platt Fields Park in Manchester is turned into Festival Central with the Parklife Weekender playing host to some of the worlds top musical talent and the initial line-up has just been announced and boy is it going to be a fun weekend! Taking place on the weekend of June 9th-10th, Wayne Coyne will bring The Flaming Lips gang to headline the Festival along with Dizzee Rascal. Other acts announced include Justice, Crystal Castles, Noah and the Whale, TEED, Azealia Banks, The Rapture, Nero, Fake Blood, High Contrast, Gold Panda, Friends, Araabmuzik, Labrinth. Scotland's RockNess festival has announced their initial line-up and it's an interesting mix. They've managed to get Scotland's very own Biffy Clyro to headline along with Deadmau5 and folk heroes Mumford & Sons. As well as the headliners a few others have been announced. Azealia Banks, Ed Sheeran, Justice, Metronomy and TEED also make up some of the bill. See above for everyone announced so far.
The festival will take place in Loch Ness in the highlands on the weekend of June 8th -June 10th. Tickets are on sale now.

To whet the appetite of fans he's just upped a brand new track titled "Dream On" for free download via his Facebook page. Last week we got to hear a remix of "Marry The Night" from The Weeknd and Illangelo which was a bit of a goodie. Today though, our senses are prepared for yet another Gaga remix, this time it's from the youngster known as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs or TEED. Born This Way: The Remix from Lady Gaga and a host of remixers will hit stores the world over on November 21st (UK) / 22nd (US).
