[Watch] Yasiin Bey - "Niggas In Poorest" (Official Video)

Last month, Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, released the track "Niggas In Poorest" on Martin Luther King Day, the first track from his Top 40 Underdog series, which sees the artist freestyle rap over and reimagine Top 40 tracks. Yesterday, on the 47-year anniversary of the assassination of Malcolm X, Bey let loose the self-directed visuals for the socially conscious track. The video, which focuses primarily on Bey rapping interspersed with footage of a Malcolm X speech, Saddam Hussein's trial, and Bernie Madoff's arrest, is available to watch above courtesy of Prefix.
