[News] Gorillaz iPad album, 'The Fall' Gets A Tracklist

Over the weekend there's been a lot of back and forth regarding the Christmas Day Gorillaz iPad album which firstly got given a name, The Fall. Now we have a track-listing for The Fall. It will feature 15 tracks, “some with vocals, some without, some combined performances and some solo." You can all start to talk amongst yourselves about your opinion on Damon solo work/instrumental tracks. As well as the track listing Damon said in a statement that his recent travels with Gorillaz has served as his main inspiration:

“I did it because there’s a lot of time that you just spend staring at walls essentially. And it was a fantastic way of doing it...I found working in the day, whether it’s in the hotel or in the venue, it was a brilliant way of keeping myself well.” He went on to add that the iPad creation is “..like a diary, I literally wrote everything on the day in each place and there’s a strange sort of sound of America and its musical traditions that comes through. It feels like a journey through America.” As Consequence of Sound points out you can see the American travels has inspired the names of the tracks too.

The website states that you can stream the album from December 25th and members of Sub Division will be able to download it on Xmas day too.  There's no solid release date for a physical copy of The Fall but it's said to  arrive sometime in 2011. Check the track-list after the jump and the 18 second snippet of the opening track that we posted the other day up top.
