Our buddies and one of my favorite local stations out west, KCRW, has hooked us up with yet another tune from Dave Sitek's side project Maximum Balloon. The stations Top Tune for today features Sitek and his TV on the Radio bandmate Tunde Adebimpe on the newest Maximum Balloon jam “Absence of Light”. Check it out below because this is the closest you're gonna get to a new TVOTR song for awhile.

Maximum Balloon is now set to be released on September 21st and you can preorder here. Also, check out some of the other tracks ("Tiger", "If You Return" and "Young Love") that have surfaced here.
