[News] Of Montreal plan Spring Tour x New EP

Of Montreal have released details of a new EP along with an extensive Spring tour. In an interview with Spin, Kevin Barnes that the band will be debuting new tracks on the tour which are set to feature on the upcoming Of Montreal EP titled The Controller Sphere, which is due out this spring to coincide with the tour.

Regarding the tracks on the EP Barnes states, "It's not completely different — the songs were written in the same period as False Priest," he says of the five or six new tracks. "Some of them are a bit noisier and a little bit less groove-based, and some are just a bit artier."

Kevin also goes on to tell Spin that  after the tour finishes in May he will return to the studio to work on the next Of Montreal record and he also say he's already started writing new songs inspired by Sufjan Stevens' latest studio offering The Age Of Adz.
