[News] Manchester Orchestra's 'Simple Math' Coming in May

On May the 10th, Manchester Orchestra will release their third official album, Simple Math via Columbia Records and Favorite Gentlemen Recordings. The band were updating fans regularly via there Twitter account along with some drunken rambling it seemed like they were enjoying the whole process. The album will be the follow up to 2009's Mean Everything to Nothing.

According to Paste Simple Math is a concept album focusing on Andy Hull's questions in relation to his marriage, love, sex and his beliefs. Andy said that “This record is two dueling conversations between me and my wife, and me and my God,” Hull says in a statement. “Sometimes even for myself, it’s difficult to decipher which one I’m actually talking to. Everything I’ve written in the past has been about those things. This album is the most realized form of my questioning.". For more info on the band and general updates head on over to the official Favourite Gentlemen website. Sign up to the mailing list and you'll get a nice little treat as courtesy in the form of an Andy Hull track titled "Rotten Black Root". Time to do a little dance due to my excitement at hearing this album!
