[Listen] Deerhunter - "60 Cycle Hum" x "The Light Pours Out of Me" (Magazine Cover)

On Thursday night, Deerhunter headed over to BBC 6 Music to pay DJ Mark Riley a visit to perform some songs and chat about all things Deerhunter. During their visit, the band played the track "Octet," from their 2007 album Cryptograms, "Memory Boy," one of the highlights from their latest album Halycon Digest, as well as a cover of Magazine's "The Light Pours Out of Me." The real treat, though, was the brand new track "60 Cycle Hum," a song the band recorded during soundcheck in Glasgow. You can listen to "60 Cycle Hum" and "The Light Pours Out of Me" below. If you head over to the BBC website, you can check out the entire session, with "Octet" and "The Light Pours Out of Me" coming in at around five-and-a-half minutes, and "60 Cycle Hum" and "Memory Boy" coming in around the 49-minute mark.
