Sigur Rós Releases Live/Demo Tracks on SoundCloud

Early this morning, the ethereal Icelandic band Sigur Rós released 37-minutes of previously unreleased live tracks, demo recordings, and reversed songs via SoundCloud. Included in this batch of tracks is a sped up version of "Avalon," a reversed version of "Starálfur," two live tracks from their 1998 tour, and five demos from the recording sessions for the band's second album Ágætis byrjun.

Fans might see this batch of releases as a sign that the band's new album is right around the corner, but, as of yet, no news regarding the follow up to 2008's Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust has surfaced. You can stream all ten tracks after the jump, as well as previous releases from the band.
