[News] Coldplay Announce New Album, 'Mylo-Oxyloto'

Rumours have been all over the web recently since Coldplay gave fans some new music, but now the time has come for some official news. The band are to release Mylo-Oxyloto the follow up to the bands hugely successful 2008 album, Viva La Vida . They have set the release date for October the 24th Worldwide and are hoping that "you like it". It's been produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson with additional compositions by Brian Eno.

Going the route of many these days they'll release it in a number of ways, obviously firstly with a digital release, Mylo Xyleto will also come as CD and vinyl format. Special treats for die hard fans will also be available. For example they'll a special limited edition Pop-Up Album which will include a 12" x 12" hardback book containing graffiti pop-up art designed by David A. Carter, vinyl, CD and exclusive content including photographs, notes from the bands and diary entries too. For now I'll leave you with the album art at the top which is two for the price of one as it's reversible. Neat. One question for you though, what does 'Mylo-Oxyloto' mean?!
