[News] The Vaccines collaborate with The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr.

According to the latest NME magazine, The Strokes' guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. approached UK rockers The Vaccines if they wanted to collaborate on a song. If you couldn't guess, there was a resounding yes. I mean, who wouldn't say yes? Over the course of two days, the UK quartet and Hammond Jr. recorded a song at his New York studio titled "Tiger Blood."

When speaking to NME, The Vaccines' frontman Justin Young told them, “we’re in a place now where we’re trying to think about what we wanna do for the next record. We really like the idea of working with other creative people and obviously, being a massive fan of The Strokes, it wasn’t something we were gonna say no to."

For the time being, there's no word on whether or not the track will be released, but we will keep you posted if and when it does. In the meantime, The Vaccines will be hitting the road with the Arctic Monkeys for a month-long tour.
