[Listen] Hawk Eyes - "Headstrung"

Remember these guys? If not get familiar. After just releasing their EP Mindhammers Hawk Eyes announce their sophomore album, Ideas. Some tracks on their EP were a step away from the sound of the debut with a more epic sounding scope of effects. Tracks on the EP reminded me of Mastodon and this first taste of the new album is another step towards that with soaring vocals and technical guitar lines all thrown together to make one hell of a first track to release from them. Rob's vocals have definitely been taken up a gear and it sounds like some QOTSA thrown into the mix too. It's a delight for the senses, I'll tell you that much. Oof.

Ideas is set to be released on the 26th of March via the bands new label Fierce Panda.

As well as announcing the album and this little tease they've teamed up with Pledge to offer some sexy exclusive gear for people willing to part with their cash. Signed Vinyl, Limited edition tees and one of a kind jackets are all available for your perusal over here.
