[Download] Moby's Daytrotter Session

Last month, during the first day of the 2nd annual Moogfest, Moby headed into Echo Mountain studio in Asheville, North Carolina to record a session for Daytrotter that I'm actually very impressed with. I had never thought about what songs like "Porcelain", "Natural Blues" or "Slipping Away" would sound like if they were really stripped down to the bare essentials. Not only did he manage to take those songs to a new level, but he he also nailed his covers of "Ring of Fire" and "Will The Circle Be Unbroken". I felt less like I was listening to Moby and more like I had stumbled across some old spirituals the entire time.

Grab this session over at Daytrotter. With Daytrotter delievering sessions like this one, I am happy to start paying the $2 monthly fee to keep them operating, and so should you.
