[Listen] Dent May - "Fun"

Dent May entered the scene a few years ago with a ukulele tucked under his arm and some earnest songs in his heart, releasing The Good Feeling Music Of Dent May & His Magnificent Ukulele in 2009. The album showcased his croonerific vocals and thoughtful lyrics while keeping it simple on the production side of the ukulele driven album. Since then he's been becoming more adventurous in his musical stylings with songs like "That Feeling" (which was released in 2010) and his playful 2011 jam "Fun", which you can check out below.

It was announced just recently that the two songs will be included in May's forthcoming sophomore album, Do Things, which is slated for a June 12 release on Paw Tracks. The album, which is described by May as a "wedding reception band on acid" was played entirely by himself and split his recording sessions between his bedroom at the Cats Purring Dude Ranch and a small cabin by a cotton field outside Oxford, MS.

For those of you heading out to SXSW next week, he has a small handful of shows lined up throughout the week, so be sure to check him out.
