[Listen & Watch] Cassettes Won't Listen - 'CASA' EP x "Ceilings and Floors" (Lyric Video)
Our good buddy, Jason Drake aka Cassettes Won't Listen is back with a brand new EP, Casa, which was recorded and mastered at the infamous Abbey Road Studios. Casa brings back that classic sound and melody that we love from CWL, especially with the standout cut "Ceilings and Floors", which takes me back to CWL's Small-Time Machine. [Listen] Cassettes Won't Listen - "Hey" (Pixies Cover)
Brooklyn-based musician Jason Drake, aka Cassettes Won't Listen, is continuing his love of '80s alt-rock with yet a cover of one of the decade's most influential bands, Pixies. This time around, he has let loose his take on the Pixies' "Hey" from their 1989 album Doolittle. The end result is a fantastic display of Drake's instrumentation skills, and despite not sounding very much like the original the song is a great listen, so check it out below, courtesy of Slicing Up Eyeballs.

Panda Bear has offered up this awesome sounding a cappella version of his Tomboy featuring track "You Can Count on Me". Jason Drake never sleeps. Whether it's releasing music with his side project Dfalt or under the Cassettes Won't Listen moniker, the guy just keeps on dropping quality tunes. That's why we are so happy to have him playing our CMJ party on October 19th at The Delancey. Check out his newest track which is a cover of Duran Duran's "Ordinary World" which is now available to purchase on iTunes . It's amazing. Drake also released a new Cassette's album over the summer titled EVINSPACEY (or the album previously known as KEVINSPACEY) which features the single "Runtime" which we debut the video for a few weeks back and features True Blood's Vedette Lim.

We are jumping up and down with excitement to announce that Wednesday, October 19th 2011 during CMJ that we have partnered up with everyone's favorite late night video provider The Audio Perv for a CMJ Day show of awesomely pervy proportions.

[SKOA Premiere] Cassettes Won't Listen - "Runtime" (Video)
The moment we've all been waiting for! We are proud to bring you the premiere of Cassette's Won't Listen's video for "Runtime" from his latest release EVIN SPACEY. The video was directed by Michael Bernard McKeon and VFX by SilkyBlackGold and stars Vedette Lim (True Blood). The video is equally as seductive and spooky as the song itself, complete a mysterious woman who adds a bit of a twist near the end of the video.
Be sure to keep your fly eyes peeled here for some exciting news involving SKOA and CWL within the next few weeks and if you haven't grabbed EVIN SPACEY already you should probably do that.
