[Watch] Ben Folds Five - "Do It Anyway" Live on The Colbert Report
Last night entertainment was provided on The Colbert Report was provided with helping hand from the Ben Folds Five who dropped by to put in a performance of their single "Do It Anyway". The single we saw the video for not that long ago featuring the puppet hilarity of Fraggle Rock... All week we've been enjoying highlights from StePhest Colbchella ’012 RocktAugustfest. We've been able to enjoy Grizzly Bear performing and having a chat with Stephen, yesterday we saw Santigold rocking the stage and last night, naturally, we got to enjoy The Flaming Lips strut their psychedelic stuff. The band performed "Ashes in the Air" from Heady Fwends, along with "Do You Realize" and "Drug Chart". On Tuesday evening we got to enjoy some highlights from Stephen Colbert's very own festival: StePhest Colbchella ’012 RocktAugustfest in the shape of some performances from Grizzly Bear. Last night Santigold was on the show to have a chat and we also get to see her perform "The Keepers", "Go", and "Disparate Youth" off of her latest release, Master of My Make-Believe. Regina Spektor has paid a visit to Letterman and Fallon in recent weeks performing "All The Rowboats" and "Don’t Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas)" respectively. Last night she added another track to the late night catalogue with a performance of "Small Town Moon" on The Colbert Report". [Watch] Jack White Visits The Colbert Report
Last year Jack White spent a week on The Colbert Report as Stephen was eager to learn Jack's secrets at Third Man Records and release his own track, which he subsequently did. Last night the two met again, this time it was to promote Jack's new solo record Blunderbuss. The night featured a backstage interview between Jack and Colbert along with a performance of "Freedom at 21" which features White's male backing band. You know the drill, one video is up at the top and the other is after the jump.

Last night Andrew Bird hit up the Colbert Report for an interview and to, to our delight, perform "Eyeoneye" and "Danse Caribe". The tracks feature on his new album, Break It Yourself, which only dropped a week again so if you're yet to give it a listen this might be a good little preview of what you've been missing out on.
