[News] Ty Segall Announces New Album 'Sleeper'

When the hell does Ty Segall sleep?? Apparently he's found time to rest amongst his barrage of releases, including last year's full-length albums Twins, Slaughterhouse and Hair and a few singles and covers this year. The rest won't last long, though, as the San Francisco rocker is releasing the follow-up to Twins on August 20th. It's titled Sleeper (haha). Watch the album announcement trailer below.
[Watch] Ty Segall - "Thank God for Sinners" (Video)
Ty Segall has a penchant for being a weird dude, and that shows in most things he does. His new video for Twins ablum opener "Thank God for Sinners" fully embraces this weirdness, using the body parts of various people to create a fleshy visual feast. It's great, it's odd, and it's incredibly suggestive at times. But, then again, that's the point, right? It's time to strip down and get in the mood for some Ty Segall. Check out the Matt Yoka-directed clip above.

[Watch] Ty Segall's Awesome (Ridiculous) Commercial for 'Twins'
Ty Segall has released a new commercial for his forthcoming third album of the year, the solo effort Twins, and it pretty much tells us one thing: Ty Segall has either the worst taste in movies or is very in tune with the concept of irony. The commercial takes clips from 1996′s The Stupids, 1996′s Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace, and 2004′s White Chicks, all of which are probably on the majority of "Worst Movies of All Time" lists that exist. Watch it if you dare in the player below.
Twins is out on October 9th via Drag City, and after the jump you can take a look at Segall's current tour schedule.

[Watch] Ty Segall - "The Hill" (Official Video)
For anyone who has had a fear of humanoid animals, Ty Segall really does not give a shit about said fears. The San Francisco psych rocker and co-director Peter Grimm's visuals for "The Hill" has Segall and his bandmates dressing up like an eagle, a bear, and a dog dancing around and jamming. As well, through magic of editing, the video adopts a VHS style and an overall atmosphere of creepy psychedelic horror. Watch the replay above.
