[News] Dot to Dot Festival announces first acts of 2013
Last year's Dot to Dot Festival was a raging success with the likes of Willy Moon, Pulled Apart by Horses and Waves bringing their noise to Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham. It's now a year on and the first round of acts for the 2013 event have just been announced and you're in for a treat if you're headed down this year. Dry The River, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Chapel Club, The 1975, Lucy Rose and a load more have been announced for the festival.
It takes place on the weekend of May 24th, 25th, and 26th in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham respectively. I had an absolute blast at last year's Manchester date and hope to do the same again this year. Check out some of my thoughts here and check out the full lineup above in the poster. Tickets are only £20 so don't hang about, go and grab one ASAP.

[Listen] Willy Moon - 'Here's Willy Moon' (Album Sampler)
Over a year and a half ago now was the first time my ears found, "I Wanna Be Your Man" and I was hooked instantly. I held on to every track that has trickled out since then, but I've still been insatiable in terms of my Willy Moon needs. Well the wait is nearly over, folks! As of April 2nd (1st in the UK) we'll have a debut album! That's right! Here's Willy Moon is only a few short months away from being in our posession and I will begin counting down the days.

[Watch] Check Out the Video for Tyler, The Creator's New Single "Domo 23"
Tyler, The Creator offered up a slew of goodies this week, all to do with his new solo album Wolf. First up is the video for the lead single "Domo 23", which enters the wrestling ring for an all-out brawl between Tyler and Domo Genesis. Earl Sweatshirt referees, Tyler gets his ass kicked by a fat luchador and Domo busts weed in the red corner. Apparently Tyler was nervous about how people would react, taking to Twitter in his all caps way:
I WANT BUSTA AND MISSY TO HEAR IT REALLY. I'M SO NERVOUS WHAT IF EVERYONE HATE IT AND I GO BROK FUCK AHHH... THE FAD IS OVER AND I GOTTA WORK AT SOMEWHERE LIKE THESE REGULAR NIGGAS AHHH NO IM SHAKING."
Continuing the Wolf promotion, Tyler posted three alternate covers for the album. All of them are awesome, but I'll let you decide on your favorite. Check them out after the jump, along with Tyler's recently announced tour dates.

[News] Final headliners for End of the Road Festival announced
Well isn't this a delightful turn up for the books. End of the Road Festival have just announced their final headliners and it's a bit of a good'un. Gracing the stage with the likes of the already announced Sigur Ros and Belle and Sebastian at the Dorset festival, which takes place from the 30th of August until the 1st of September, will be the spell-binding St. Vincent and David Byrne. Watch the video above for the announcement from organisers and for more info on who else will be playing the fest, head to the official website.
End of the Road won Best Small Festival at the 2011 UK Festival Awards, and rightly so, I've never heard a bad word spoken about it. So why not join in the fun and go see what all the fuss is about by jumping over here for some tickets which are available right now.

Now all that's left is for the French outfit to release some new music.

[News] Deerhunter Recording New Album
Rolling Stone recently unveiled a behind the scenes look at Deerhunter's in-studio sessions, where the Atlanta band is hard at work on the follow-up to 2010's Halcyon Digest. Taking place at Rare Book Room Studio in Brooklyn, the outfit is working with producer Nicolas Vernhea during their late-night recordings.
According to RS, "[f]rontman Bradford Cox stockpiled upward of 250 potential songs for the new disc; so far he's whittled them down to a strong dozen, including the swaggering rocker "Dream Captain."" And, when speaking on the album as a whole, Cox says it is "a very avant-garde rock & roll record."
With Cox, guitarist Lockett Pundt, drummer Moses Archuleta, and new bassist Josh McKay stretching their recording sessions to 6am, their hard work and dedication will surely pay off.
Head over to Rolling Stone to check out their full gallery of in-studio photographs. More news on Deerhunter's yet-to-be-titled fifth album should arrive in the coming months.
