[Listen] Bombay Bicycle Club - "How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep" (Tom Vek's Big Beatnik Mix)

I fell in love with the Bombay Bicycle Club single "How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep" and the video was just a treat for the eyes too. Then the band then brought the track to the studio of Last Call with Carson Daly and now we get to hear another take on the single from Tom Vek who's re-worked the single adding his own magic touch to the song. He's given the track a bit more upbeat feel whilst keeping the foundations well and truly intact. It's been named 'Tom Vek's Big Beatnik Mix' so see if it lives up to that title below.

Bombay Bicycle Club's A Different Kind of Fix is out everywhere now.

[Listen] SBTRKT - "Hold On" (Sisi BakBak Remix)

SBTRKT has one hell of a busy 2012 scheduled and now some new sounds from his camp (kind of) this way come. A remix of his "Hold On" track has hit the net courtesy of a few sources. Now, the remix itself comes from Sisi BakBak. Anyone? No, well that's not surprising but word on the grapevine is that the remix comes from none other than Radiohead's Thom Yorke. KEXP’s Cheryl Waters, who premiered the track, said that the person the remix came from is set to play Seattle’s Key Arena. Radiohead play that very arena in April. Bestival organiser and all round top guy, Rob Da Bank, also tweeted (via P4k) saying he was enjoying the Yorke remix "for the 18th time…unbeatable!".

The remix is set to feature on the release of the single "Hold On" which drops digitally on February 21st, and as a limited edition 12” in a deluxe lenticular sleeve on May 8th. See if you agree with Rob below and let us know if you beat his 18 times in a row below courtesy of Young Turks.

[Listen] Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire – “Unthinkable” (RemeX)

Following the release of his holiday themed Merry eX-Mas & Suck My Dick, Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire has yet another holiday themed treat for everyone. This time around, the New York MC has let loose a Valentine's Day remix of Alicia Key's "Unthinkable." If you love your woman, then listen to what the issued press release had to say:

As we ring in Peel Off Valentine’s in a Stretch H2 Hummer surrounded by stupendous breastis’s's eXqo Bumaye, stops to reflect about the one and only valentine he really fucked with. Lacing his vocals over Alicia Key’s “Unthinkable”( shout out Megaupload for the Project files) eX tells the tale of love getting lost, like hinges dangling loose between two cars on a speeding train. Play this shit for your bitch on Valentine’s day so she knows its real."

Give the remix remeX a listen below.
