[Listen] Neon Indian - "Hex Girlfriend" (Twin Shadow Remix)

For this year's Record Store Day on April 21st, Neon Indian will release a 10" vinyl for the single "Hex Girlfriend" from his sophomore album Era Extraña. "Hex Girlfriend" will serve as the a-side, while a Twin Shadow remix of the same song will serve as the b-side. Check out Twin Shadow's rendition of the track below (via Pitchfork).

The "Hex Girlfriend" 10" vinyl will be limited to 500 copies that will be available solely on Record Store Day, with 200 copies being pressed on translucent coke bottle green vinyl and another 200 having an opaque blue swirl on the coke bottle green. [Listen] Bombay Bicycle Club - "How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep" (Tom Vek's Big Beatnik Mix)

I fell in love with the Bombay Bicycle Club single "How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep" and the video was just a treat for the eyes too. Then the band then brought the track to the studio of Last Call with Carson Daly and now we get to hear another take on the single from Tom Vek who's re-worked the single adding his own magic touch to the song. He's given the track a bit more upbeat feel whilst keeping the foundations well and truly intact. It's been named 'Tom Vek's Big Beatnik Mix' so see if it lives up to that title below.

As we've mentioned a couple of times, Battles are putting together a remix package called Dross Glop gathering mixes of their album Gloss Drop from all walks of the musical wilderness. Today we get to listen to another take on their track "Africastle" from Kode9 which whill feature on the release that's now set for release on April 17th via Warp. Just yesterday we saw the stylish looking video for Crystal Castles' "Suffocation" and now today we get a great sounding remix to boot. No complaints! The reworking comes from L.A. band HEALTH and you can download it below for yourselves courtesy of Pitchfork.

[Listen] SBTRKT - "Hold On" (Sisi BakBak Remix)

SBTRKT has one hell of a busy 2012 scheduled and now some new sounds from his camp (kind of) this way come. A remix of his "Hold On" track has hit the net courtesy of a few sources. Now, the remix itself comes from Sisi BakBak. Anyone? No, well that's not surprising but word on the grapevine is that the remix comes from none other than Radiohead's Thom Yorke. KEXP’s Cheryl Waters, who premiered the track,said that the person the remix came from is set to play Seattle’s Key Arena. Radiohead play that very arena in April. Bestival organiser and all round top guy, Rob Da Bank, also tweeted (via P4k) saying he was enjoying the Yorke remix "for the 18th time…unbeatable!".

The remix is set to feature on the release of the single "Hold On" which drops digitally on February 21st, and as a limited edition 12” in a deluxe lenticular sleeve on May 8th. See if you agree with Rob below and let us know if you beat his 18 times in a row below courtesy of Young Turks.
