Next week sees the release of some heavy-hitter releases, including new albums from POP ETC (the band formerly known as The Morning Benders), UK outfit Hot Chip, Swedish singer-songwriter The Tallest Man On Earth, and soul mastermind Bobby Womack.
After changing their name from The Morning Benders to POP ETC, the Brooklyn outfit has adopted a new musical direction. Leaning away from their original indie beginnings and more towards an electronic and pop-infused sound, POP ETC are utilizing the name change in more ways than one, and it's paying off. The entirety of their self-titled debut under the new moniker, which is set for release on June 12th, is available to stream now at MTV Hive.
Hot Chip's fourth studio album In Our Heads is set to drop on June 12th via Domino Records, and if you've yet to hear the alreayd released tracks "Flutes" and "Night and Day," no need to worry. Now, you can stream the entirety of the forthcoming 11-track effort on NPR.org.
The Tallest Man On Earth (aka Kristian Matsson), is gearing up for the release of his third LP There's No Leaving Now, yet another effort set to release on June 12th. His 10-track album is now available to stream on NPR.org, as is Bobby Womack's The Bravest Man in the Universe. Teaming up with Damon Albarn and XL Recordings boss Richard Russell, Womack has crafted a soulful, haunting soundscape that is definitely worth the listen. The Bravest Man in the Universe is out on June 12th via XL Recordings. Stream it here.

Less than a year and a half after the release of their fantastic fourth LP Burst Apart, The Antlers have announced that they a following it up with an EP titled Undersea. The EP is set for release on July 24th, and is being released through the band's new label ANTI- Records. Check out the teaser trailer for the album below, and after the jump you can take a look at their full tour itinerary for the next six months, including numerous festival dates.

[Watch] Hot Chip Covers Prince on BBC Radio 1
Hot Chip recently visited Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show for an in-studio session, during which they covered Prince's "If I Was Your Girlfriend," his classic track from his 1987 Sign "O" the Times. You can stream the entire show over at BBC's official website, with Hot Chip's cover starting at the 1:19:50 mark.
Hot Chip's upcoming LP In Our Heads hits stores on June 12th via Domino Records, and above you can watch the band performing their lead single "Night and Day" during the same in-studio session.
[Listen] tUnE-yArDs and ?uestlove Cover Fela Kuti
The Roots' ?uestlove and tUnE-yArDs have teamed up for a cover of Fela Kuti's "Lady," which is to be included on an upcoming compilation titled Red Hot + FELA. The track is available to stream below, and can also be purchased on iTunes. The compilation is a collaboration between RED, an AIDS charity, and Red Hot Organization, with all proceeds benefitting the charities' battle against AIDS.
According to Billboard, the compilation, which also marks the beginning of the (RED) RUSH TO ZERO campaign, will be released later this fall.
[Watch] The Flaming Lips & Erykah Badu – "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" (NSFW)
The Flaming Lips' Record Store Day epic The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends featured a great collaborative effort with Erykah Badu titled "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," and today they've put forth the NSFW visuals for the track. The George Salisbury-directed clip features Badu's sister Nayrok naked and covered in blood and glitter. Watch it above.
The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends will be re-released digitally and on CD on June 26th via Warner Bros. Records.

[Listen] Ty Segall Band - "Swag"
Swag is a word you would normally associate with Odd Future, but it's another California group that are using it. Ty Segall Band, which consists of Ty Segall and touring band members Mikal Cronin, Charlie Moothart, and Emily Rose Epstein, have put forth a brand new song titled "Swag" for an upcoming compilation called In A Cloud II: New Sounds From San Francisco. The compilation features new music from bands from San Francisco, and Ty Segall's contribution is available to stream below.
In A Cloud II: New Sounds From San Francisco is out on July 17th via Secret Seven.
