[Listen] Two Inch Punch - 'Saturn: The Slow Jams EP' (Full Album Stream)
After enjoying songs like "Moonstruck" and "Paint It Red", I am happy to report that Two Inch Punch's latest EP, Saturn: The Slow Jams is now available. For those of you who prefer to try before you buy, you can stream the entire EP below. I love how delicate but powerful all the layers feel as they lay on top of one another and weave in and out during each song. This EP comes highly recommended.
Saturn: The Slow Jams is available to purchase now on iTunes.
[Watch] Crystal Stilts - "Dark Eyes" (Official Video)
New York noise pop outfit Crystal Stilts may not be the most well known band out there, but the music they produce is always satisfying and mesmerizing. Their song "Dark Eyes," off of last year's Radiant Door EP, is a highlight from the band's repertoire, with nostalgic organ synths wandering through a dreamscape of distant vocals and airy guitar riffs.
The video for the song is equally as enjoyable. Director Jacqueline Castel used a combination of HD, Super 8MM, and hand colored 16MM film to capture the band during a performance at the Knitting Factory on December 9th, 2011, and the result is a colorful, retro-infused visual experience. Check it out above (via Consequence of Sound).
[Watch] Frank Ocean Performs with Earl Sweatshirt and Covers Prince at L.A. Show
Frank Ocean performed at Los Angeles' The Wiltern last night for his Channel Orange release show, and the night offered up a few nice surprises. For those lucky enough to have been there, Ocean was joined on stage by fellow Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt for the song "Super Rich Kids", and the attendees couldn't help but scream wildly as Earl strolled in casually. The screaming didn't stop there, either, as Ocean's cover of Prince's "When You Were Mine" got a huge reaction from the crowd. Check out fan footage of both after the jump.

[Watch] The Alchemist feat. Danny Brown and ScHoolboy Q - "Flight Confirmation" (NSFW)
Legendary hip-hop producer The Alchemist released his new album Russian Roulette yesterday, a sporatic blend of hip-hop essentials and old Soviet propaganda and sound samples. The lead single from the album, "Flight Confirmation", features Danny Brown and ScHoolboy Q and highlights this odd but awesome blend perfectly. It makes all the sense in the world, then, that the accompanying video for the single is equally as sporatic and assaulting on the senses. Get ready to have your eyeballs barraged by flashing animated gifs.
[Listen] Toro Y Moi and Tyler, The Creator - "Hey You"
Tyler, The Creator normally doesn't hype anyone up or show them any love on his infamous Twitter account, but he always has kind words for Toro Y Moi. It makes complete sense, then, that the two have teamed up for a collaborative track titled "Hey You". The song is apparently unfinished, but these days music leaks all the time, and Tyler and Toro don't mind; the two have shrugged off the leak and put out the song anyways on the Odd Future tumblr. Stream and download the song below.
[Listen] Stars - "Hold On When You Get Love And Let Go When You Give It"
Stars are back with yet another single from their forthcoming sixth studio LP The North, and it will easily win this year's award for lengthiest song title (the award for lengthiest album title goes to Fiona Apple). "Hold On When You Get Love And Let Go When You Give It", title aside, is a fantastic indie pop arrangement, with a catchy, rhythmic guitar hook and relentless percussion offering a wholly pleasant listen. Listen to the single below.
As well, if you've yet to hear "Theory of Relativity", the lead single from The North, head here, and check out the band's full tour itinerary after the jump, including a Canadian co-headlining tour with Metric.

[Watch] Passion Pit - "I'll Be Alright" (Official Video)
Have you ever had a moment where a piece of art immediately captures your attention and you can't take your eyes off of it? Passion Pit have taken that a step further in the video for the latest Gossamer single "I'll Be Alright". The band teamed up with Genero.tv for a contest, giving fans the chance to create a music video for the song. The winning video sees an art museum security guard falling in love with a triangular golden art piece, which happens to be very good at two things, singing and making out. Watch the clip above.
Passion Pit's sophomore LP Gossamer is out on July 24th via Columbia Records.
[Listen] Chiddy Bang - "Paper & Plastic"
If you were given the opportunity to create fridge magnet poetry and have it be turned into a song by Chiddy Bang, what would you write? Converse and Champs Sports asked fans to do just that, and Chiddy Bang have turned it into the track "Paper & Plastic". The result? There are a lot more lyrics about sandwiches than any song I've ever heard: "ladies like the sandwich party captain". Stream and download it below.
