[Listen] Crash & The Coots - "Brian Fury Wins!" (Alternate Version)
Who fancies a little bit o a psychedelic trip on a crisp Tuesday afternoon? Here we have an alternate version of Crash & The 'Coots' track "Brian Fury Wins!" which is being dropped as a celebration to the band releasing an EP next Monday. The EP titled John Coles Park is going to be available on a limited edition cassette next Monday with a digital version being available later in the month on the 29th of October.
The track is a mixing pot of lo-fi trippy goodness, something I could definitely do with a lot of on a hectic Tuesday. Hopefully it'll have the same kind of calming effect on you guys as it did for me. You can check out the original version over here too for comparison.
[Download] Rick Ross - 'The Black Bar Mitzvah' (Mixtape)

Rick is keeping himself busy it would seem as he also dropped his album God Forgives, I don't earlier in the year.
[SKOA Premiere] Ace Reporter - "Untouched And Arrived"
With the slew of bands hustling to make a name for themselves in a place like New York, it becomes a seemingly impossible task to sift through it all to find the diamonds in the rough. Take for example, Brooklyn based band Ace Reporter, who I share the same stomping ground of a borough with. I was completely unaware of their existence until just recently. Once I laid ears on "Untouched And Arrived", however, I had to have the full lowdown on these guys. The story goes that after his former band The States broke up, longtime musician and frontman for Ace Reporter, Chris Snyder spent all of 2010 writing and recording a song per day, which he appropriately dubbed the threesixfive project. From there, Snyder took the best songs from all 365 of his creations and throughout the spring of 2011 poured over the songs to see if he could transform them beyond their inception. The results of his refining eventually were shaped in the form of his upcoming full-length debut, Yearling, which is slated for a February 2013 release.
"Untouched And Arrived" was a already a gem of a song as you can hear from the threesixfive version. Clearly Snyder took a lot of elbow grease to it in order to give it the polish and sparkle that it rightfully deserved. The final product is crisp like an early autumn morning and the vibrato in his vocals during the chorus are sure to send a slight bit of goosebumps down the side of your body. I am anxious to hear more from Yearling as we are still a few months out of February, but for now will be more than satisfied to come back to this song again and again.
Have a listen and download "Untouched And Arrived".

[Watch] The Vaccines - "I Always Knew" (Official Video)
The new video from The Vaccines features a guest appearance from Ernest Hemingway's great-granddaughter, Dree alongside frontman Jason. They can be seen frolicking around at a fun fair of sorts, messing around on some sort of ride. It's the kind of ride I personally used to love as a kid, one that throws you around from side to side as it spins crazy fast. Then I grew up and my insides decided they didn't like being flung around like that so now I'm that boring guy stood at the side holding my friends' coats in these situations. It makes for a nice video to accompany the track though which features on their album Come of Age.
[Listen] Pusha T - "Pain" Feat. Future
Pusha T comes back at us with a brand new track from his long awaited solo debut according to his official site. It features a guest spot from Future and they say his album is set to drop next year. We'll see about that, but for now you can stream "Pain" in full below via Soundcloud or pick it up on iTunes. Note that the track is actually streaming on Kanye's Soundcloud too. I don't trust anyone with my passwords, not even my crappy damn toy money box with a total of around 50p in coppers in it.
[Listen] How to destroy angels_ - "Keep it together"
Trent Reznor’s project with Atticus Ross, Rob Sheridan and his wife Mariqueen Maandig How to destroy angels_ have some new music coming our way in the shape of the EP An Omen_. Now you may be wondering why there's an underscore in their name now and the first letter is capitalised? Pitchfork points out that they're going to "capitalise the first letter of everything, and adding underscores in random places." Cool.
We look forward to typing out the titles in the coming months but whatever, today you can listen to the first track from the upcoming EP, titled "Keep it together" it is also set to feature on their album due out next year.
