In what could easily be a clip from a feature length film, Thee Oh Sees video for "Lupine Dominus" is alluring, dangerous, and it just works. The John Strong directed visuals capture a grittiness that is hard to find, with sleek shots and a tense tone, not to mention an ending that only one person would find pleasurable. Watch it above.

Yeasayer are currently taking a break between tours, and in the meantime they have a brand new video for the Fragrant World track "Reagan's Skeleton". The video sees the band performing the song in the studio, with a tinge of VHS-style layering adding some visual fidelity to the clip. Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard direct. Watch the replay above.

[News] Toro Y Moi Announces New Album: 'Anything In Return'

Chaz Bundick, aka Toro Y Moi, returns in January with a brand new studio album titled Anything In Return (artwork pictured above), the follow-up to 2011's Underneath the Pine. He is his attempt at "trying to make sincere pop music that’s not all processed and bubblegum." He continues, saying, "Underground isn’t always relevant; I want to see what’s popular, then put my own spin on it."

Innovation is never a bad thing, and it seems Bundick's head is in the right place. Below, you can watch a replay of Toro Y Moi performing the song "Rose Quartz" at Lollapalooza to get an idea of what his brand of sincere pop music will sound like. Despite their status as an indie-electronic darling, the sounds produced by Edmonton duo Purity Ring are anything but. Their debut album Shrines is laden with dark, brooding trap instrumentation, and leave it to Danny Brown to take advantage of the rap-friendly nature of their beats. Labeled as the sequel to Purity Ring's "Belispeak" (note it's not a remix), "Belispeak II" sees Brown dropping a slew of dirty verses amidst the gothic synthesizers and rampant percussion. Stream the song below to hear Brown rap about his little belly speaking in an auto-tuned voice.

[SKOA Premiere] Alan Wilkis - "Stay Forever feat. Paul Holmes (Vasili Gavre Remix)"

SKOA favorite Alan Wilkis was gracious enough to think of us to premiere NYC producer Vasili Gavre's remix of the third installment from his PRINTS series, "Stay Forever" which features vocals from Paul Holmes, who you may know from his projects The Tells or Adrienne Drake. If you have already been enjoying this track as much as we have, this reworked nugget from Gavre is a surefire way to keep you on your PRINTS love fest while we all anxiously for the next track to drop. The change up to the phrasing on the vocals will initially catch you off guard, but it encourages your ears to listen in different corners of the original that you hadn't thought to appreciate before, which is something I always love about good remixes. If you enjoyed Gavre's remix as much as I did, you should check out the band he's in called Americans In Paris. As far as what's next for the PRINTS  series, Wilkis told us that in the coming weeks that he'll be shooting a music video for "Stay Forever", so be on the lookout for that soon.

In other Wilkis-related news, he's currently wrapped up a new remix for The Hood Internet's new album and has started working on a project with Dan Armbruster of Joywave. According to Wilkis, "[The project is] still in the early stages there, but we're psyched about it!" As you can probably guess, when there are updates of any of the aforementioned news items you will be able to learn more right here.

[Watch] Jack White - "I'm Shakin'" (Official Video)

It's Jack versus Jack in the new video for "I'm Shakin'", as director Dori Oskowitz pits the rocker against himself in a "twin edition" of Battle of the Bands. Imagine how amazing it would be if there really were two versions of Jack White. For now, we'll just have to marvel at the fantastic editing and camera work at play here. Catch the replay above.

On October 16th, White will release a 7″ vinyl featuring "I’m Shakin'", backed by the non-album b-side “Blues on Two Trees”. The single will be released digitally and physically on October 30th.
