[Watch] Death Grips - "True Vulture" (Official Video)
Death Grips' videos over the past 10 months have pretty much been home-made in your face, fit inducing madness and montages of images as fast and brutal as the music pummeling your ears. That changes today though as the band have let loose a collaboration with director and animator Galen Pehrson which is for the Museum of Contemporary Art, LA. For a track that doesn't actually feature on the recently leaked/released album NO LOVE DEEP WEB, "True Vulture" gets an awesome hand-written storyline which can be seen above.
[Watch] Clock Opera - "The Lost Buoys" (Official Video)
I think Clock Opera's videos have been some of the most thought provoking in recent years. Heart wrenching yet relatable in every sense imaginable and today they add another to their catalog with a great looking piece for "The Lost Bouys". They've teamed up with this Ben Strebel who the band worked with on their stunning "Once And For All" video and it stars Alun Armstrong who you may recognise from The Mummy Returns/Braveheart, , Maggie O’Neill from Shameless and Catherine Steadman of The Tudors fame. Peek the story telling video above.
Their album Ways To Forget is out now. The band will also be heading out on a headline tour in a few days so if you'd like to catch them on the road make the jump.

[Watch] Regina Spektor - "How" (Official Video)
We've had quite a while to indulge ourselves on Regina Spektor's What We Saw from the Cheap Seats yet the ballad in the form of "How" is as beautiful as ever. Add to that a sleek looking video in which Regina takes centre stage for the subtle vid in just a couple of outfits and you've got yourself some perfect easy morning viewing. I particularly like the cotton wool looking clouds. Enjoy it at the top.
What We Saw from the Cheap Seats is out now and you can pick up a copy over here.
[Watch] Ellie Goulding - "Anything Could Happen" Live on Conan
She's back at it again! Following a performance on Fallon last week, last night Ellie Goulding performed another rendition of "Anything Could Happen" on the late night circuit with a visit to Conan. The performance as with pretty much every live performance I've seen of her in the past few years, she seems to be a lot more confident on stage now mind. I remember seeing her in Manchester 3+ years ago and she was a shy, acoustic guitar wielding youngster. Fast forward to now and she's rocking the stage on Conan with ease.
Her new album Halcyon is out now but you can catch the performance from last night at the top courtesy of The Audio Perv.
[Watch] The Family Rain - "Trust Me... I'm A Genius" (Official Video)
Today we get to enjoy the energised sounds of Will, Tim and Ollie Walter three brothers that go by the moniker The Family Rain. They manage to make it sound fresh whilst bringing in many a British sounding feature to the track titled "Trust Me... I'm A Genius". Peep the video which features smoke-bombs, flares and some wheel destroying donuts in a BMW above.
The song will be released as the bands debut single on the 19th of November via bigger SPLASH.
[Listen] Wu-Tang Clan feat. Kool G Rap - "Rivers of Blood"
The torrential downpour of tracks from RZA's directorial debut The Man With the Iron Fists continues with a new song from Wu-Tang Clan and Kool G Rap. With heavy guitars and gritty overtones, "Rivers of Blood" is a heart-pounding cut featuring production from BADBADNOTGOOD and Frank Dukes. Stream it below.
The Man With the Iron Fists Soundtrack arrives on October 23rd, with the movie hitting theatres on November 2nd.
[Watch] Bon Iver - "Beth/Rest" (Official Video)
Bon Iver seem to be winding down as a band (supposedly), but before that happens they have one more offering for us. Justin Vernon and friends have given us the video for Bon Iver, Bon Iver closer "Beth/Rest", which was directed by Dan Huiting and Vernon himself. Straying away from the awesome unofficial video released last year, Huiting and Vernon's interpretation was filmed in the woods surrounding Vernon's Wisconsin studio and focuses on a group of glowing celestial beings living in the forest. Speaking on the video, Vernon said, "[i]t’s kind of about two people who are truly meant for each other and what happens to their essence. How they connect is some other thing that we don’t know how to really talk about." Watch the clip above.
[Watch] D-WHY - "Ballad Of An Asshole" (Official Video)
D-WHY has dropped another video to accompany a track taken from his debut project Don't Flatter Yourself. In the build up to that we saw the movie styling of "New York Times". This time the video is to accompany the Hit Boy produced track "Ballad Of An Asshole" in which he's teamed up with Jakob Owens once more to great effect. Check out the video at the top. Regarding the track and being an asshole:
Sometimes—admittedly—I’m an asshole. Sometimes it’s out of necessity, sometimes it’s on accident. Sometimes it feels good, sometimes it doesn’t. This song was written to celebrate those moments. The frustration, the anger, the ignorance, the arrogance. It’s a battle cry. It’s an attempt to champion those times when you just are an asshole.
You can pick up Don't Flatter Yourself here.
