[Watch] Wild Nothing - "Paradise" (Official Video)

Indie darling Jack Tatum, better known by his stage name Wild Nothing, recruits the equally, if not more so, darling Michelle Williams (Dawson's Creek, Brokeback Mountain, Shutter Island) in the video for the Nocturne single "Paradise". Tatum's deep, sprawling vocals and groovy basslines sweep over footage of Williams' journey to paradise (apparently paradise is Niagara Falls). Williams is a perfect fit for the video, perhaps even elevating it beyond what it could have been, as she evokes an effervescent charm with her calm demeanor and a well-timed reading of an excerpt from Iris Murdoch’s novel A Word Child. Watch it above.

[Listen] Dirty Projectors - "While You're Here"

Dirty Projectors' Swing Lo Magellan was one of the more impressive albums released so far this year, and they quickly continue their creative stride with a new EP entitled About to Die. "While You're Here" is the second track we've heard from the four-song extended play, and, simply put, it's good. David Longstreth manipulates his vocals in uncanny ways amongst a solemn yet powerful wave of strings. Longstreth also states in a tweet that the song is a dedication to the late TV on the Radio bassist Gerard Smith, who passed away last year. Stream it below.

About to Die EP is out on November 6th via Domino Records.

[Watch] Chromatics - "Looking for Love" (Official Video)

Chromatics continually support their amazing fourth full-length album Kill for Love with videos that are as aesthetically pleasing as the music itself. The visuals for "Looking for Love" sees the atmospheric synthesized beats accompanied by grainy footage of Chanel’s Pret-A-Porter Printemps-Ete 2013 Show, where the band performed. The impressive architecture of the Grand Palais in Paris, as well as the model's themselves, makes for a perfect companion for the synth goodness. Catch the replay above.

"Looking for Love" will be appear in its full 17-minute version on After Dark 2, an upcoming compilation put together by the band's label, Italians Do It Better.

[Download] Big Quarters - "Grown Up" Feat. Sims (of Doomtree)

Its been a good minute since we heard from the midwest brothers Medium Zach and Brandon Allday b.k.a Big Quarters after the release of last year's album Party Like A Young Commie. Zach has been busy producing tracks for I Self Devine and soley producing Mankwe Ndosi's latest album Science and Spirit (great album!). But the brothers are back with a brand new EP titled Somos No Joke which contains 8 new cuts of that classic all heart sound that we expect from Big Quarters and features some sweet guest spots from Sims (Doomtree), I.B.E and Longshot.

The new EP isn't set to drop until the end of November (11/23), however, but have no fear you can hear the first single from the album "Grown Up" featuring Sims below and pick it up for free over at bigquarters.com. Those that were BQDirect subscribers (I miss those days) may remember the rough version of this cut which was released a few years back. Peep it.

[Download] MHz Legacy - "Satisfied" Feat. Slug (of Atmosphere) (Prod. By Rjd2)

Back in the day before Rjd2 was "THE RJD2" that we know and love now he was DJ of the Columbus, Ohio rap collective MHz which was fomed by Copywrite, Jakki Da Motamouth, Tage (Proto) Future, RJ and the late great Camu Tao. The group's first and only album Table Scraps is one of my favorite hip hop albums which introduced me to Copywrite and Camu, as well as some of the first RJD2 productions. Now the collective have reformed under the name MHz Legacy in honor of their fallen brother Camu and are set to release their new self-titled album on October 30th, MHz Legacy, which marks the group's first album in a decade.

The new LP features 17 new cuts from the MHz crew with RJD2 producing 6 new cuts and also features guest appearances from some of hip hop's best past and present like Danny Brown, Blu, Slug (of Atmosphere), ILL BILL, Slaine, Icebird's Aaron Livingston and Oh No, as well as a number of never-before-heard verses from the late Camu Tao. With new Camu verses and new RJ tracks alone, I know this album is going to have my money thrown at it. If that doesn't convince you to do the same take a listen to this album cut titled "Satisfied" featuring Slug of Atmosphere and is produced by RJD2.

[Listen] LULS - "Young" (Spector Remix)

The other day I heard an interesting remix of LULS' track "Young" from J£ZUS MILLION and then today another has appeared online. This time it's the UK boys Spector giving it the rework treatment and you can check it out below. Big beats and a definitely dance worthy song for so early in the week, don't you think?

LULS are also set to perform some dates in the coming weeks around the county. The single was released on ParadYse Records along with "Swing Low" just yesterday.
