[Watch] The xx - "Chained" Live on Fallon
Late last week in the madness of the early weekend, The xx paid a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform the hair raising single "Chained". The trio were dressed all in black, naturally, and managed to make it feel like they were performing in your very own lounge. Wonderful.
Their album Coexist is out now and you can peep the performance at the top courtesy of The Audio Perv. The band will also be out on the road in the UK come December, dates of which you can see below.

[Watch] Lulu James - "Be Safe" (Official Video)
Lulu James is set to release the single "Be Safe" via Black Butter on November 17th and today we can sit back and enjoy the video for the track. It originally featured on the debut self-released EP, Rope Mirage which dropped earlier this year but this version is a slightly different. Given a rework it's been tampered with by Hostage and Kidnap Kid and the result is pretty darn great Tuesday listening.
[Listen] Jack White raps on new track "Blues On Two Trees"
You read that correctly so you can stop rubbing your eyes and blaming it on a lack of sleep. Jack White is a man of many talents and a man with his finger in many a pie. Rapping however is something I've never heard him do but with his new single "I'm Shakin'" he's going to release a B-Side in the shape of "Blues On Two Trees" and yeah, he lays down a different lyrical style for the intro. Take that, Tuesday morning. I don't know if I fully agree that it's rap but make of it what you will as we only have the preview right now, but hey it's something a little different to start your day with. Sample the track below and look out for the full version in the very near future.
[Watch] of Montreal - "Sails, Hermaphroditic" (NSFW)
of Montreal is getting into all kinds of weird territory—but then again, when are they not?—in their new video for "Sails, Hermaphroditic", which appears in their new rarities collection Daughter of Cloud. The clip, directed by Nina Barnes, the wife of frontman Kevin Barnes, pits two teams against each other in a brutal mix of baseball and football, a battle that gets "broken up by a gonzo performance by the legendary Newcastle hair-metal band Moat-er-Wilde". Oh yeah, and Barnes juxtaposes this with trippy, kaliedoscope footage of people having sex. Please to enjoy.
[Watch] Titus Andronicus - "In a Big City"
Titus Andronicus quickly follow up the release of their latest album Local Business with a literal visual accompaniment to the lead single "In a Big City". The Isaac Ravishankara-directed affair follows lead singer Patrick Stickles as he journies across his home state of New Jersey, ending his march with a riverside view of the New York skyline. Check it out above.
For a more in-depth look at the video, check out Grantland's Amos Barshad's behind-the-scenes expose as he spent time with the band discussing their new album, band history, and more.
[Listen] Christopher Owens - "Lysandre’s Theme" & "Here We Go"
Back in July, Girls frontman Christopher Owens called it quits, saying he left the band "in order to progress", and that he would "continue to write & record music". Well, as it turns out, that day has come, as he has announced his debut solo album Lysandre, which will be released on January 15th through Fat Possum. The album is described as "a coming of age story, a road trip story, a love story" inspired by Girls' first tour in the summer of '08. He has also offered up two tracks from the upcoming album, "Lysandre’s Theme" & "Here We Go", both of which can be heard together below.
[Listen] Diplo - "got stoned and mixed really old records for half an hour"
Honestly, this one is pretty self explanatory. Need I say more?
[Watch] Danny Brown - "Wit' It" (NSFW)
Danny Brown is a pretty ridiculous dude, and the video for the XXX deluxe edition bonus track "Wit' It" is equally, if not more so, ridiculous than he is. Noisey sums it up like this: "Wit’ It’ is basically the craziest, most futuristic crunk song ever made, so to celebrate he got Bijoux Altamirano to whip him up a video inspired equally by .gifs and No Limit Records. Obviously, it is the trillest." With that in mind, enjoy the flashy NSFW clip above.
