[Listen] Some Early Demos from Rage Against The Machine

A few years ago when the UK decided to stick it to X Factor and get Rage Against the Machine to Number One for Christmas I don't think anyone would believe it'd lead to them doing a come back show and so many more shows on the back of it. The band are set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut with Rage Against the Machine – XX. The package will come packaged as a deluxe box set that compiles early concert footage, an original demo tape, and footage from their aforementioned come-back show June 2010 at Finsbury Park. Today why not take a listen to three early versions of some tracks in the form of "Bullet in the Head", "Freedom" and "Mindset's a Threat" below via Spin/Noisecreep

Rage Against the Machine - XX will hit stores on the 27th of November and you can pre-order the reissue at www.RATM.com.

[Listen] The Prodigy - "Smack My Bitch Up" (Major Lazer Remix)

I personally have a few really vivid musical memories from being a kid. One is walking in on my Dad playing air guitar on New Year's Eve to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", and another is getting caught dancing like a maniac to The Prodigy by my Granddad when I must of been about 8 or 9 years old. I always liked the brash and in your face sound of Prodigy's music so I was quite happy to see Major Lazer had offered up a remix of their classic "Smack My Bitch Up" to celebrate the 15th anniversary.

The Fat Of The Land is set to be reissued on December 3rd /4th (US) by XL Recordings to celebrate the album's aforementioned anniversary. You can pre-order it over here.

[Watch] Tame Impala Perform on Log Cabin Sessions

Sitting down for Pitchfork, Tame Impala lay down some renditions of tracks in the studio for their "Log Cabin Sessions". We get to enjoy "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" from the recently released, and still great sounding Lonerism and "It Is Not Meant to Be" from their debut Innerspeaker.

If you've not picked up a copy of Lonerism I'd reccomend it, I know myself and Adrian have been giving it a lot of love over the last few months.

[Listen] Biffy Clyro - "Black Chandelier"

Biffy Clyro are preparing to release their album Opposites on January 28th next year. We've already got to hear come back single "Stingin' Belle" and tonight on Radio One, Zane Lowe debuted another brand new track from the band titled "Black Chandelier" that's set to be released ahead of the album on January 14th.

With this only being the second studio recording of a track to preview from the album I'm expecting some huge sounding riffs and hooks in January. Starting with a light melody and guitar line it constantly feels like it's growing throughout. There's a glimpse of some dirtier, crooked darkness in a brief 5 second bridge but then it's gone again in a flash. It's a very radio friendly single, that's for sure with a big sing along chorus to boot.

"Black Chandelier" will be available as an iTunes EP, featuring brand new tracks "The Rain" and "Thundermonster" along with a live version of "Many of Horror" recorded at this summer's Rockness Festival. As well as that you'll be able to pick up an exclusive 7" Vinyl of the single which will feature another new non-album track, "Milk".  You can pre-order the EP now over at iTunes

[Watch] The Killers - "With or Without You" (U2 Cover)

Last week I went to watch The Killers for the fest time in years. As it happens it was the show in which Brandon and co left the stage 5 songs in due to his voice packing in. Yeah, that was a bummer. So I didn't get to enjoy many of the band's hits let along any covers! Well, Brandon's voice is back and at their London O2 Arena show the band performed a stripped down version of U2's "With or Without You". Give it a watch at the top via Prefix.

The Killers are set to return to the UK next year with a history making performance at London's Wembley Stadium.

[Watch] Jessie Ware - "Running" (Live Take Away Show)

Pitchfork.tv and La Blogothèque teamed up to offer up a series of Take Away Shows shot during the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris not too long ago. Today we get to enjoy the wonderful Jessie Ware laying down a performance of "Running" whilst walking the streets on a sombre evening. Jessie never ceases to amaze me with her live voice so give it a watch above and see if it knocks your socks off too.

Her album Devotion is out now.

[Watch] Foals Visit Later... with Jools Holland

Last week music fans got an extra special treat when Foals visited the BBC studios and Later... with Jools Holland. They debuted a brand new track titled "My Number" on the show which is a different beast compared to "Inhaler" but equally brilliant. After the jump you can enjoy that aforementioned track "Inhaler", one of my personal favourite tracks from recent months actually, which is why it ended up in the latest SKOA mixtape.

The band are preparing to release a new album Holy Fire on February 13th on Sub Pop. I'm sure we'll hear a few more tracks before then.
