[Watch] Night Panther - "Fever" (Extended Video)
From the few songs we've heard from Phildelphia duo Night Panther, you would expect one of their music videos to be a slew of groovy, sex-fuelled imagery. But for their song "Fever" they've done something completely unexpected, going all in with a determined DIY attitude and eleven minutes of goofy '80s stereotypes and story tropes. The lengthy music video sees a story of revenge unfold, albeit with lots of cocaine, epic fight scenes, and exotic vehicles. Watch the full clip above courtesy of yvynyl.
[Listen] The xx Perform Stripped Down Versions of "Angels" and "Teardrops"
The xx's sound is already pretty stripped down as it is, but the minimalist stylings of the UK outfit were stripped down even further when they dropped by Dermot O'Leary's BBC Radio 2 show. During the visit, the band performed raw renditions of Coexist tracks "Angels" and "Teardrops". Stream them both below.

[Watch] Andrew Bird and St. Vincent Perform "Lusitania" in a Bedroom
Andrew Bird and St. Vincent in a bedroom. The result? A damn good acoustic joint rendition of Bird's "Lusitania", which found itself on his fantastic early 2012 release Break it Yourself. What else did you expect from the two filming themselves in a bedroom? Watch it above.
The clip is a small part of the feature length concert documentary Andrew Bird: Fever Year, which was directed by Xan Arranda and will continue to be screened at film festivals around the world throughout the early part of 2013.
[Listen] YACHT - "Second Summer"
This month marks the 10-year anniversary of YACHT, the wacky electropop outfit from Portland, Oregon. To celebrate the occasion, the band has recorded an awesome new track titled "Second Summer", which comes paired with an equally awesome animated video. The video, directed by ADHD, stems from the band's appreciation of the director's previous work:
We’ve been unabashed fans of ADHD & Ben Jones’ work since his days with the art collective Paper Rad and jumped at the opportunity to channel his rare strain of visual damage into YACHT’s world. This video represents the ultimate manifestation of our spirit animal, the Smiangle, morphing from an impersonal signifier of mystical subtext into something completely alive, surreal, and psychotropic."
Watch the animated goodness below. As well, in even more celebratory news, YACHT will be performing at the Echoplex in Los Angeles on December 8th. If you're a longtime fan of the band and live in the L.A. area, make sure to get your ass over there tomorrow night.
[Watch] Sigur Rós - "Leaning Toward Solace" (Video)
What was sevens months seems to have gone by much quicker than that. Starting last May, Sigur Rós' "Valtari Mystery Film Experiment" has finally come to a close, with a total of 16 videos to compliment the band's latest LP Valtari. The final contribution to the video series is titled "Leaning Toward Solace", a twelve-minute visual composition directed by Floria Sigismondi. Starring Elle Fanning and John Hawkes, the video appropriates the Valtari tracks "Dauðalogn" and "Varúð", with the result being a compelling and striking experience focused on the relationship between a father and daughter. Consider the next twelve minutes of your day well spent.
