[Listen] The 1975 - "Sex" (Liar Remix), Announce 2013 Tour

Having just demolished a headline tour of the UK with stops in Manchester and London, The 1975 have now announced a lengthy tour for the start of 2013. Setting out on January 22nd from Newcastle it'll span 24 dates all over the UK finishing up with a homecoming show at Manchester's Deaf Institute again before hitting up London's Borderline on the 18th of February.

To celebrate they've offered up a remix of their track "Sex" from Liar. Yesterday a remix of "You" from Andrea appeared online too, so treat your ears to that as well. Hit play below prior to that though and be sure to pick up some tickets for their shows. I caught them live last week and am predicting big things for 2013 from them.

[Listen] Ben Howard - "Figure 8" (Ellie Goulding Cover) in Radio One's Live Lounge

Today's guest in Radio One's Live Lounge was the talented Mr. Ben Howard who brought along his backing band to put in some spine tingling performances of his recent singles but he also put in a fantastic cover. After performing "Esmerelda", "Only Love", "Keep Your Head Up" and a personal favourite track of mine at the moment, "Oats in the Water", he opted to take on Ellie Goulding's current single "Figure 8". [Watch] Gray Things - "I Want It To Live" (Official Video)

Matthew Cooper who's also known as Gray Things has shared the video accompaniment to the track "I Want It To Live" which is actually the b-side to the "Girl" single. The video sees Cooper immersed in the depths of a swimming pool cut alongside sea life shots. See what you make of it above.

[Watch] Biffy Clyro - "Black Chandelier" (Official Video)

Biffy Clyro unveiled single two from their forthcoming double LP, Opposites, last month and now "Black Chandelier" has been given the official video treatment. Recorded in London earlier this month by Big TV the video is a little odd and follows up "Stingin' Belle" that we heard/saw over the summer. 

Ahead of the record being released, the Scottish lads will release the Black Chandelier EP on January 14th along with two new, non-album tracks: "The Rain", "Thundermonster" and a live recording of "Many of Horror" from Rockness. Opposites is set for release on January 28th.

We recently got news that Benga is set to drop three brand new tracks before 2013 rings its big ass bell at midnight on December the 31st. We got to enjoy "We're Coming Out" a week ago and now the legendary UK producer offers up "Open Your Eyes" complete with a spooky video accompaniment.

Chapter II is set to be released on the 25th of February.

Last week I got to enjoy The 1975 perform a triumphant home city show in Manchester at which the entire place was bouncing from start to finish. Today I was pleased to have this remix of their "You" arrive in my inbox from Paris' Andrea. 

The 1975 recently released their incredibly infectious EP Sex which is full of indie pop sing along chorus' to brighten any winter day.

[Watch] Jack White - "I'm Shakin'" Live on Conan

Last night the main man known as Jack White was the musical guest on Conan O'Brien's slot and he brought along his all female backing band. They performed the first ever live performance of "I'm Shakin'" taken from his solo release from earlier in the year, Blunderbuss. I would do just about anything to have a play around with Jack's pedal board and set-up. Maybe if I ask Santa real nice?
