[Watch] Childish Gambino - "L.E.S." (Video)

Chidlish Gambino pairs his slick, violin-saturated track "L.E.S." with a visual montage of late-night adventures throughout New York City. While not featuring Gambino himself, the video visits many familiar (or unfamiliar) locales across the city's Lower East Side. While not particularly outstanding the visuals suit the Camp cut pretty well, making for a fun five minutes. Catch the replay above.

[Listen] Little Dragon Remix Unknown Mortal Orchestra's "Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)"

By simply looping the first verse from Unknown Mortal Orchestra's "Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)", Swedish outfit Little Dragon has turned the once 60s-tinged track into a sprawling six-minute dancefloor beat. Sweeping synthesizers and pulsating rhythms accompany the repeated vocals of Ruban Nielson, as a pounding drum beat invites you to embrace its club-friendly sound. As Yukimi Nagano explains to Rolling Stone, the band was "inspired to make a choir arrangement for the remix, but got stuck on the first verse and ended up making a house jam."

Unknown Mortal Orchestra's sophomore album II is set for release on February 5th.

Django Django invites you to their fuzzy, monochrome party, complete with disco ball and live music. If that doesn't whet your appetite, how about some lucid daydreaming about a picnic? Directed by BAFTA-winning director John Maclean, brother of band member David Maclean, the clip for "Hand of Man" is a charming visual feast. Check it out above.

[Listen] Indians - 'Somewhere Else' (Full Album Stream)

Throughout the past year, Copenhagen-based artist Indians, the moniker of Søren Løkke Juul, wowed me (and I'm sure others) with his ethereal, electronic-tinged pop. With only a few songs under his belt, including "I Am Haunted" and "Magic Kids", he was able to expand his presence to the point of garnering the attention of numerous big name bands. As a result, Indians served as on tour support for Beirut, Other Lives, Bear In Heaven, Dan Deacon, Lower Dens, and more. Continuing this stream of success, Juul will be releasing his debut album later this month through 4AD.

Somewhere Else sees Juul extending his talents into 10 tracks, including "I Am Haunted" and "Magic Kids". The entire album entices you with its dreamy aesthetics, offering a soundscape full of gorgeous instrumentation and echoing, reverbed vocals. In the same vein as Bon Iver, Indians invites you to get lost in the forlorn beauty of his music. Stream the entirety of Somewhere Else below, courtesy of KEXP.

[Watch] Death Grips - "Come Up and Get Me" (Extended Video)

Simply put, Death Grips had a tumultuous 2012. After signing to major label Epic, the band released two albums, The Money Store and NO LOVE DEEP WEB, less than eight months apart. Then, before the second album was released, the band got kicked off the label. Instead of bowing out they went ahead and leaked NO LOVE DEEP WEB, going around the Epic and essentially saying to them "fuck you". Whether you're divided on your opinions of Death Grips, there is no denying the stunt landed them in a favorable position.

Death Grips have quickly returned, issuing an extended self-directed clip for the NO LOVE DEEP WEB opener "Come Up and Get Me". The 12-minute video throws a lot of crazy visuals at you, from frontman Stefan “MC Ride” Burnett smoking alone in a bedroom or eating a potted flower plant to epileptic flashing ceiling lights to a man struggling underwater with handcuffs around his wrists. It's pretty fucked up, but it's worth the watch. Check it out above.

[SKOA Premiere] Bedroom - "In my Head"

Bedroom, the bedroom-born project of Nashville resident Noah Kittinger, has been featured numerous times on SKOA ever since he appeared on our radar almost one year ago, and for good reason. Although still a high school student, Bedroom's sound and talent is beyond his years. Kittinger consistently impresses, employing a diverse array of sounds and inspirations that encapsulate the atmospheric haziness and angst many of us felt yet maintaining a cohesion that grounds the sounds in reality. Through reverbed vocals with guitar in hand, the young artist draws you in to his simple yet engaging compositions, and his latest single "In my Head" does not stray from that formula, a formula that he has proven and solidified. As always, we are pleased to premiere the newest release from Bedroom's growing catalogue.

Beginning with a solitary, sullen acoustic guitar riff, "In my Head" is simple in its execution, and it is in this that it works so well. Kittinger's vocals drift in and out seamlessly, as if in a dream-like trance, with echoing synthesizers pulling your attention deeper into the song; "In my Head" exemplifies what Bedroom does best. Stream the song below, and head over to Bedroom's SoundCloud page or Bandcamp page to download the track for free.

[Listen] Jamie xx Remixes The xx's "Sunset"

Jamie xx does some reworking of his own (well, mostly his own) material, changing up The xx track "Sunset". While keeping the vocals of Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim in tact, Jamie extends the song by nearly double its original length, adding in an incredibly catchy bassline, sweeping synthesized drones, and a slew of solid drum machine effects. The result is a much clubbier track than the original, but in no way is that a negative. Check it out below and let us know what you think of Jamie's rework, and for comparison we've also included a stream of the original.
